Yes mate as I will hardly use the 86! Will only be using the Lexus mainly during winter. But if there is no snow or ice I will take the 86 out for a tick over!By the way I forgot to mention with a speedo swim race timer I clocked my 0-60 at 6.9.(Only a partial tire Curp) hardly nothing really. Conditions where dry and on a flat! Now there are many variables with what I did but I did the run 4 times with pretty identical times. It took a couple of runs to get it just right at first as trying to look at your speedo and press a button when it hits 60 is nails! I choose 60 not 62mph as 60 was easier to spot on the timer. Can my times be correct? Just putting on sportier tires I have dropped pretty much 0.5 to 0.7 (hundredths) of a second of the manufacturers stated time. Am I wrong or are the Primacy HP's that lacking in initial grip! ? Bewildered here guys! -

After reading up on all the tuning packages i.e turbo from Fensport or a supercharger from Litchfield I think I will stay N/A! That is why I bought the 86 after all because of the revvy natural aspirated motor! Fun! Right! If I wanted forced induction I would of bought the closest rival (in terms of a real drivers car) the Renault Megane rs 265! Though a front wheeled drive car it still offers a real drivers feel! More power, torque and for retailing less dosh! But I bought the 86 because it gives you real world performance! You can spank it to the red within the legal limits whilst having a mega grin!I am a normal bloke not a Button or Hamilton and I wouldn't be chasing the best hot laps on the Track. (Just be on there for fun).I am not saying I would never consider either package in the future but for now I am loving my 86 the way it is!Just a few bolt on's will do! Tires, induction and maybe a exhaust will treat me right I say! I am certainly considering Litchfields 25BHP package. Still keeping it N/A too! Last point our GT 86's are Top Gear's car of the year 2012 for a reason! On the other hand different strokes for other folks lol

Last night whilst driving around London visiting my folks I started to hear my breaks squeak. I was driving with my windows down through normal West London roads, it seems with the parked cars and tight buildings the sounds from my car was amplified. The squeak comes in at the initial point of breaking and the harder I press the break pedal the squeak disappears. It is a faint sound but a squeak none the less. My 86 has only got 8.5k on the clock and no break pads go in that space of time and I only give it the beans rarely on my Favourite local B roads! "Which is not a lot might I add, still learning on how to drive fast.. I so need help, heel and toe, someone needs to show me please" lol. Also my break bite through the pedal is still very strong and high up which should indicate I have ample break pads left. What could this be?Anyone else noticed the their car do the same?Technical wizards Help?!Thanks guys.

Sound mate! Does that make a difference in sound? Also the sound generator where can i get those?Any news on when this meet is at abbey motorsports?
-
Rob is that a drop in unit?
-
Mate awesome link! It seems the drop in filters do as much good as a full induction kit! But the Blitz product looks the best!
-
Mate till I came on here I was cluess! Thanks guys! SO is there a Induction kit that does the lot? ie power and sound?
-
Nice what is a sound generator? What model should I go for?
