Awesome Kev. She getting the flex A with edfc pro?
-
Thanks lauren. Will keep you posted.

Lauren how does one aquire your settings and is it not 5/5kg the tein standard? But 6/6kg sounds more my style of driving 😀 I think you will have to talk me through this stuff next time i meet you and go through the settings etc please.
-
Thanks Rich. Looked at the Tein site and yes the pro version seems justify it's extra cost. 😀
-
Yes it would be good to compare but unfortunately im from the south west towards basingstoke area.

What's the main difference between the active and pro kit?

Anyone know turbo project car for sale?
CHOSENMAN007 replied to GT86Bob's topic in GT86/BRZ General Chat
Oh that I did not know. I've heard a few stories of the stroker kit going bang. So if your looking for big power it's probably best to stay 2 ltr and go forged. -

Didn't stan and Keith (spec k) do a engine swap?! That's what Keith told me. -
What enkei wheels are you quoting there? That 17x7 you mentioned is quite heavier than my 18x8 (racing line). You have to remember enkei have several different categories. They are as follows lightest top and they get heavier accordingly. So the weight or wheel you specified is a bit to general. You should annotate the model also. 1. Racing Revolution (light/higher end construction) 2. Racing line (light/lightest) 3. Tuning 4. Performance 5. Classic 6. Suv/truck (heaviest)

All dealers would recommend 98 octane or above in most cases. And I'm pretty sure they sell them fueled as such.
-
Welcome car looks good. Some awesome driving routes up there that's for sure.
-
Dude that's a sure way to ruin your car lol
-
I'm on a 8j +45. I'm pretty sure I run 15 or 20mm spacers on the front and rear. 10mm will not be enough if you want your wheels flush. Oem wheels are so far in.

ENKEI custom wheels deliver the latest in wheel designs, composite alloy technology such as, casting/forged processes, rigid testing that must pass stringent JGTC Standards and unsurpassed manufacturing facilities. Enkei is dedicated to perfection and delivers the best in aftermarket wheels. most are not forged bit run pretty close. To be honest you will struggle to notice the difference in such high levels of manufacturing

Great deal and if they need a revamp as you mention they are old a refurb is feasible. You could use them for winter rubber maybe. If your like me and use summer tires all year round sell them. Oz are a decent brand but in terms of a choice between them and high end Jap brands I'd go Japanese straight up no ice. In my personal view oz look a bit to conservative. Design wise not colour choices. (Not to offend Oz users) There is a reason why high end Jap wheels have such a following. But that's just me. If you sell you can buy other goodies 😎

Your deal gets better and better. And get through them you will. Tread ware is rather quick. But sticky! By the way yokohamas are Japanese 😃
-
Now we are talking. Nothing wrong with used if the price is right. Good man staying with the brands that suit the car. Volk, rays enkei and advans only imo. Now go slap on some re002s and your good to go 🚗
-
If you can make them work on your car then they are damm cheap. Quids in. That's just over the price of one of my corners and tire. Buy em. Might need some serious camber on the rear though. 🚗 For tires with massive performance and affordable price go buy yourself a set of Bridgestone Potenza RE002's. You won't be disappointed dude 🚗
-
Dude humps around yours must be real high. I've had a 25mm drop for 3 years not had a single scrape 🚗 but your right 40mm is way to slammed to the point it may well compromise handling as well.

Dude car is still in the shop but as soon as I get it on the road we should defo sort a local meet. Been out the car/club scene way to long 🚗🚘
-
We will sort something soon for sure! 😎
-
Another Hampshire 86. All good. I live in Hampshire should do a local meet at some point. 😎
-
Haha but hope he gets a decent set of wheels after all this.
-
I just do a Google conversion

Basically my car is all out with options when I bought it. Stripe inc. Has everything apart from the upgraded audio. Don't need that. 😎
