OEM suspension dampers and springs only done 2.5k too. Willing to consider offers as it has to go. On their own or as a package. Pm me with questions. James.

Saturday the 23rd of august. That's the preliminary date for a tint decal day incorporated with a meet and drive. Put your name down if your interested. If there is also interest and most importantly numbers min of 12 we could do a race simulation in conjunction. Due to rob being so busy I've offered to head this up. Prices for tints decals will be cheaper than anywhere else in u.k. Racing sim on a 12 person scale I'd say £50 or less. Cheaper than a track day plus you keep your tires. You can bring helmets etc. James

A random one. Out of curiosity why is a avo turbo mounted low in the engine? Most turbo kits are mounted top end. What are the advantages and disadvantages in where you mount a turbo. I understand most kits mount above the oil sump for cooling, if I understand correctly. As you can tell I'm clueless on turbos. James.

Abbey Motorsport GT86 Development car

What size rs05 wheels and tires do you have on your development car mark. I think those are the best looking wheels ive seen. -
A sprintex 210 with water/methanol injection.
-
I thought so too. But I wondered why the real big power turbo kits the likes of Crawford and full blown mounted high up. Their base kits punch well above a avo kit even the stage 4. I feel mas gave a pukka explanation in this subject.

Keith I spoke to a vehicle tech at work who works on stuff we can't buy ; ) I asked how to strengthen a auto box and would valve bodies and a torque converter do it. Simply put he said no, they only change when the gear shifts. But uprated parts will help. He said look at new stronger clutch packs. Views? James

Tarim I have a s.c with 240 hub and my auto has no dramas in coping. No cooler.I do push my car hard on road as where I live we have a lot of private roads and open tarmac spaces. So for hard road no dramas. Point to note 240 hub in a s.c is no where as hard on your motor and transmission as a turbo. Its the torque that will cook your trans. A s.c brings linear power (more you squeeze more you get). A turbo hits hard mid range with everything. Mate you don't need to touch your auto trans at all unless - 1. You go big blower on a built motor. 2. You track very often. Hope it helps. James

That certainly educated me on turbo placement mas. Cheers

So there is no best set up really I guess?
-
How are you addressing cooling mate with all this power to come
-
Roger that ghost rider. I feel ya. I'm pretty much going to stay as I am or when mark says there is another way to extract power or bolt on a new kit. But as far as I know a turbo Will always kill a trans compared to a s.c. but either way we are in the same boat.

G.F.B light weight pulley set

Sold. Adminstrators please lock thread. Thank you -
This sale is for a 3 piece set. Go fast bits. G.f.b Alternator pulley. Water pump pulley. Crank pulley. I suggest this set up on any set up on any car apart from a sprintex twin screw on high boost. Had a few rare issues on my car. If you want details pls p.m me as the kit is great but issues only seemed to happen on my car and I feel I should not tarish a great product as everyone else who has light weigh alloy pulleys has had no dramas. Point to note. I was the only one using these pulleys on a sprintex set up on a auto car on a bar of boost. Awesome on n.a cars and any other set up. A must have. £150

Yes I'm willing to wait. No rush at all. Lauren the issue was my drive belt kept on slipping off. Myself and mark feel its an isolated case. But the with no answer to why it kept slipping off, so the only other avenue was the alloy pulleys where not happy with a sprintex cranked up a notch. I go back to stock pulleys on Saturday. Fingers crossed. If it happens again then god knows : ( But certainly a must have for n.a cars. Revs more freely. James. -

Thanks Jordan. Think you pretty much summed it up. N.a cars. Save 100 quid. -
Easy chrome sbc wheels on and orange car. None of us have chrome. Deep polished, will stand out like anything.

Nice Keith. Hope it all comes together. Why not look at the likes of full blown motor sports in terms on engine internals. I suggest them as the are the leader in big power turbo applications. Their stage 1 is the equal and more than a stage 3 a.v.o kit. They produce their own blocks. Check the link. http://fullblownmotorsports.com/shopmake/subaru/brz/engine?limit=20 They produce full blocks to. And considering you want the most fastest auto in euro these parts are tried and tested and a perfect match for big power turbo applications. But this is a very interesting tread mate. Looking out for more.

I train in Brecon. Yep awesome views and twisty roads. Pencil me in.

I'm with you on this one Jordan. I want more to. Just at odds on which route. No doubting a twin screw super charger has the best noise out of any forced induction set up in my opinion. I to was doing loads of homework on a 335 blower. But for now I will wait it out. The likes of a harrop is one to watch. I can only push so much as don't want to blow my transmission like Keith has. Will work on handling. But the abbey demo car is the place I'd like things to go in the next power jump. Should wack in proper headers and see what happens. My decat stock headers set up might be holding it back slightly. -

I see. So would fitting a stock crank pulley again let me exceed 1 bar of boost? If not I certainly need to look at another avenues for a slight bump in bhp. -

Mark out of curiosity, could a sprintex 210 push over a bar of boost? Say 15 psi or so. James. -
Great info. Can't help feel better knowing I got the brakes to match the power. It must be a placebo effect but I like the feel and looks to much : )
