How's your super sports going? Yes if I got them id use them mostly on road and the rare track day. I think the cups are more usable than say r888s as they can actually hold up in the wet and considering I only use my car once a week it shouldnt be to bad. As for road noise the cars let I'm so much noise in themselves : ) Cup 2s cost a a great deal more. Its a hard one out of super sports or cup 1s. Only drama is my traction control comes on a lot and kills my fun! On hard driving of course so I need something more dry orientated. Or maybe Im just a heavy footer on corners lol Quixote, did you use the cups daily?

Front NRG good for 5000lbs. Used but only as a aid to looks. Only been on car a month. Great quality from the USA. Retail £50 plus delivery. Rear hook is a high grade quality aluminium item. Again just used for the tuner look.retail £30 plus delivery. Both still amazing condition. I'd take £50 for both.

I agree 100%

Lauren that link is Amazing. Its say on a 235 I will lose 4mm to my arch and on 245 I'd lose 8mm. How I don't get it? I'm going wider no increasing the depth!. Am I missing something? Some one explain please.
-
You reckon 235 would be the limit Lauren?

Exactly. You wonder why I got sprintex now. Been there. Sorry kid.: )

Its called home work jay.. It took me 6 months of deliberation to choose which root to go. All forums in the states went towards the innovate kit. And they are ahead in terms of a car club and knowledge than us. .I looked at rotrex, innovate, vortech and hks. All tuners pointed at the innovate. And yes it was my opinion as is everything on here. Don't believe me use google : ) For argument sake your opinion is right. Your fact is gospel lad. So we shall leave it at that.

Show a pic Dave.

Because this is not our tread I don't really want to encroach on tarmac sports, but I'm compelled to answer this once. So No mate I'm running cooler obviously. But its set at 6 psi and is only designed to be used when your in attack mode ie above 6 psi of boost. There is no problem temps to begin with as the sprintex system is probably the best s.c kit out there (in my opinion), I just put a cap on max temps is all which is much lower than stock. I've done it not because I need to its because I wanted to. The kit is perfect without spray, I just want to be different. There is no need to spray constantly just when I want it (not need it) like on very hard pulls etc. Everyday driving don't even use it as I shift before 3k well before the 6psi mark. The hood raise is more for static heat dissipation and heat in general. Imagine you just parked up then you open your hood, what do you feel all that trapped hot air hit you in the face. The raisers just address the heat by giving it some where to go. . So to that point I feel the carbon hood will be good as it has functional vents. It looks good, we all like a bit of carbon and it will save a very tiny bit of weight. As for rain issues it should be fine Christian runs his turbo car with one with even more vents.. Rain itself would do nothing to the engine, only down side it makes the engine very dirty indeed as the rain will push all the dirt on your hood into your engine bay,see it fir myself, just one to think about tarmac sports. PS I bought the wrong raisers but I drilled bigger holes into them and wa la they are on. Only down side, to an untrained eye it looks like I had a crash and repaired the front but left the back bonnet as it was hehe. Function over form I hope on this one. If not take em out in 5 mins. See those of u that will attend the dyno day. Would love to see the tarmac car in the flesh. Looks awesome in pics. Well thought of car mate. : )

Negative ghost rider.. No more drilling .

I do but going for a whole new look ; ) These are awesome functional trinkets for the gt86

Everyone loves to whine... Its an addiction

I don't think its an issue.. Again even athletes need good ventilation. Just improving grandmas recipe ; ) As for sales I look at what pro teams do and question why. Research leads to valid reason. It costs a 5er for hood raisers so I'm not loosing out and its only a couple if bolts. Just hope I bought the right ones. Hehe

Jay i think your pic is for looks. As there is no way you get air flow to the engine bay through thoses ducts or out of it. Look at the fender then look in your engine bay no holes. Unless you drill. Air flows through simple. Whether you blow as hard as you can, use a oriental fan, a dyno fan or doing 60mph the air goes through. Also giving heat somewhere to go.. Your not raising it like a full blown drift car or time attack car just a few mm, just enough. Also I think it looks cool... Real tuner look! And me got great taste ; ) (ask spec k) hehe As for a carbon bonnet, I'd only buy one for looks as there is hardly no difference in weight to a stock aluminium hood. Save 0.2 0.3 or there abouts! So I will buy one eventually, probs the stock looking one as Keith says its England and it pisses it down like one mans business.

Exactly what I doing on Friday. Bonnet rear raisers. So cheap too. And better air flow. Done a test with actually de attaching the bolts and placing a dyno fan up front. Used my friend shop. You can feel the air push out from under the raised bonnet. May not work on minis but does on our cars. : )

No I have not never had a carb car mate. We all know its a great set up... Yes it is mapped to get great gains and some. Like i said i just want ice cubes in my glass of coke. Never ever change coke just want it colder.. Simples. The s.c fa20 engine can never get that cold never! Actually its the hardest engine and set up devils own has ever tried to cool and drop temps to considerable levels. Put it this way I started with a d03 nozzle normally used on 300bhp cars and my pump set at 200 psi. Got gains but not considerable. Full day of testing today I'm running a d07 nozzle that's used on 700 plus bhp cars and the pump blasting at 250psi.! Devils own has never seen temps like this bar on 600bhp vxr8s. Even they run smaller nozzles a d05 to be exact with 30bhp gains without a map.. But now I'm on the door step of a gain of 20degrees less peak temps on back to back tests. So I am happy with the results. No need to push any further as its there now. But could get more results but just not worth it on my power out puts. Not posting any figures as they are my own for now between myself Bruce and mark. Pls be patient with me I know you all want results as i agree and i know you all do to its a bloody interesting subject. Results good or bad atleast ive do the r&d . good results whether more or consistent power, get a kit or not. Bad then no skin of your noses. So no need to reply just yet folks ; ) in military context wait out ghost rider the pattern is full. -

As you say Steve you get annoyed when your temps go over 40 degrees so it does happen and Rob is seeing even higher temps than me. -
