£100, great condition minus the two marks in the pictures. Tyres around 3-4mm, would probably want to change them

Selling standard wheels. They have tyres on but I'd suggest replacing them. Good condition, no kerbing etc. Will get photos once it stops raining. £150 collection

Workmanship at Milton Keynes / Bedford dealer

I was at Fensport last week and they mentioned that Toyota may be allowing certain independent garages to carry out the recall work, worth giving them a call -
I had a similar noise to your first one, and it turned out it was from my Miltek exhaust. It was the version without the flexi, I can't remember what exactly was wrong with it - but had a flexi installed and it went away...

Forgot to say they're non sequential

Hello, So, I did something stupid. I bought some autoglym window polish. I cleaned the windscreen, dried it - and then applied it following the instructions. Came out incredibly clear - was very impressed. And then the sun hit it. The windscreen is absolutely covered in white specks. They're not scratches, they're not chips (not ones that I can feel at least). I cannot get them off. I have cleaned it again multiple time, even clayed it. It's so bad that I'm considering just replacing the windscreen (there is a chip in it anyways that's pretty bad but not an MOT failure) Any help would be appreciated.

I actually ended up getting a new windscreen last week. I thought I had gotten most of it sorted until I had to start driving to work in the low sun and couldn't see anything whatsoever

Got my car in for 60k service next week, and it could also do with new discs and pads all round. Eurocarparts got 35% off at the moment so think I might just buy some discs off there. What would people recommend for a daily driver? I don't do track days so not bothered about anything that's good for those. My wheels are 7.5 inch width and et37, not sure if that makes a difference or not.

Had my 86 for around 5 months now. Bought it at 49k miles for a good price. Spent a few weeks lurking on this forum working out what it is I wanted to do to the car and the list ended up totalling around £10k, so forget that. I decided to try do the things I wanted on a very small budget. First off was getting rid of the plates and adding jap style ones got them for £27. I also wanted to get a better sound from the car but didn't want to fork out hundreds on a new system. Got my hands on a miltek cat back non resonated for £120. Next plan was wheels but my clutch release bearing was making odd noises. Took it to fensport and they fitted a new clutch for £420. Not money I planned on spending but a new clutch made me realise just how bad the previous one was. Next up was the lights. I am now part of the 90% and have the valenti taillights. Got them from a forum member for £170. Probably could have got the same price or cheaper from overseas but didn't want to wait months and risk them not turning up. I also sprayed my badge black but not so sure if I like it now. Yesterday I took delivery of some Calibra Suzuka wheels. They're 7.5 with a 37 offset I believe, they're used and came with tyres with around 4mm tred on. Got them for £300. Now this is where I get a little stuck. I want to go lower but I live in fens and the roads are awful, so I really want to avoid going with springs. They'd suit my budget but I feel as if it's an area I shouldn't cheap out on. I've never lowered a car before but its something I've been reading up on, so I'm aware that coilovers would be the best option. Had a chat with the guys and fensport yesterday (they're 5 mins from my house!) and they recommended the Tein Flex Z. Coilovers are something I certainly can't fit myself, so I'll need to take around 6 hours of labour into consideration. Also, not sure if they're something I should buy used or not? Would appreciate some guidance on if so, and what to look for when buying. Finally, I do plan on going with the N/A package with tuning developments. I can get something similar from fensport but I'd like the dyno test and they are around 3 hours away and I promised the other half a weekend away soon so seems like an option haha! Ooh and, being a red car and the previous owner having bricks for hands - the swirls on my paint are horrendous. I have a friend who owns a detailing business who has offered to do me a paint correction at a discount but its still around £400. If anyone has any recommend methods to doing it myself without spending a fortune on equipment, please give me a shout.

Thought people might appreciate an update. I tried @nerdstrike's suggestion of nail polish remover. Cleaned the windscreen like I normally would, dried it, and then applied the remover just using a microfibre cloth. It worked! It's certainly not perfect, but I'd say 70% of the marks came out. When I have some time on the weekend, I'll do it again but put more effort in and see if I can get the rest out. Don't think I'll polish glass ever again!
-
Haha, kind of wish I was at the last stage. I'll try nail polish remover too, girlfriend has plenty of that laying around.

I'm around Cambridge most the time mate, work in Ely - live in March! Going to tackle it tonight, possibly tomorrow night.
-
Okay, that sounds quite promising. I'll give the white vinegar a go first and see if that helps - if not then I'll get that ordered.
-
Yeah, I had noticed them in the past - but I think hard polish being in them has just really brought them out lol.
-
Okay mate thank you. I'll give that a go tonight!
-
Okay. Any recommended method of applying it? I imagine just on a soft cloth and go up and down up and down up and down up and down up and down up and down up and down up and down up and down up and down up and down up and down up and down up and down up and down up and down up and down up and down up and down up and down up and down up and down?
-
100% not on inside - inside now just full of finger prints! lol. Okay, I'll give the waterspot remove a go. I don't have a machine polisher though, and I guess a windscreen would be cheaper (£75) than the polisher.
-
I have a feeling they're very small chips, and the polish has settled in them - but I can't understand how there can be so many chips - there are easily 300+. I know the paint on these cars is shit, but the glass too?
-
Now that I've got slightky wider wheels, do I need to change what my tyre pressure should be? They're currently at 33 and feels a little floaty
-
Okay mate thank you
