Hi all, I'm in the market for a thermostatic oil cooler kit and found one from Bar-Tek for a good price, just wondering if anyone on here has used one before. https://www.bar-tek-tuning.com/fa20-brz-gt86-oil-cooler-kit Sent from my Pixel 5 using Tapatalk

I think I've only done the disks, at the moment I have DBA T3 disks and EBC Yellowstuff pads, I'll probably go for the same pads in a bbk setup aswell. Sent from my Pixel 5 using Tapatalk

Ah cool I've just had a look at their kits, how have you found them? I guess if they are similar then they might be interchangeable with k-sport/ ap racing discs and stuff Sent from my Pixel 5 using Tapatalk

Well as I said it's all preference really, that's what I love about our cars, there are so many mod options. I'd say if you were going for power then maybe the money is better spent on something else, but if you want the car to feel a bit more rev happy and like to heal and toe and things then yeah I'd recommend it Sent from my Pixel 5 using Tapatalk

I wouldn't say loud but yeah there is a little chatter you can hear when idle Sent from my Pixel 5 using Tapatalk

I got tuning developments lightweight flywheel when I changed my clutch, I do love it, you can tell it revs a bit more freely (more noticeable for me on decel) although i have lightweight water pump, crank and Alternator pulleys aswell I wouldn't say it will give you a big power increase and it is a little easier to stall but like anything it's up to you. Does anyone know if k-sport use the same calipers and and fittings between the 330mm kit and the 355mm kit? Like would I be able to buy either disks and get them to work with maybe just a different caliper bracket? Sent from my Pixel 5 using Tapatalk

I think emissions are usually measured at idle and also at load, around 2750rpm. Our cars are usually quite close to the limit from standard, so yeah make sure it's warm. Sent from my Pixel 5 using Tapatalk

Yeah I have brought some jap speed 25mm spacers to try it out, unfortunately with my Desmond Regamasters the wheel pockets are ever so slightly too small and the studs from the hub foul on the wheel, I could cut the studs down but then I would never get my wheel to fit without the spacers and I don't know if the tyres will rub with the spacers so I can't chance it, also my original studs have been through alot of abuse and so I've been getting wheel nuts stuck on causing the stud to sheer when trying to get the wheel off. So I've been wanting to fit some ~20mm spacers to my brz but with my wheels on at the moment the studs only poke through just enough to be safe, so I was after some that were about 25mm longer, but everywhere I've looked online just states "extended" I mean if they are long enough that would be great but I'm hesitant to order them without knowing the size, does anyone have any experience with these?
