Weird one, I need to get a longer bolt of the one circled in the pic below, it's the bolt that the exhaust hanger fixes to the secondary cat pipe. Does anyone know the bolt size / thread / pitch? Tia Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk

Thanks, looking at the thread pitch/angle mainly as not as easy to measure, to make sure don't cross thread the hanger nut! (ha oh dear) Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk

Think I'll join you at Snetterton on the 29th Aug mate. Do you have any discount ahead for this one? Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk -

Hi everyone! Soon to be the new owner of an Orange GT86! FIrst thing will be a UEL header and remap - wondered if most UEL headers will fit the stock overpipe/rest of system. i.e can i just buy the UEL manifold (probably cobra one which is about £500 on ebay) and all will be well ? Also, seen like mixed view on MOTs - as i understand a catless header will prove the best gains, leaving the second cat in - should still be okay through MOTs? Thanks

You'd need lower control arms for rear (might get away with offset bushes) and camber bolts at the front to give you a bit of adjustment. Can get all from fensport. Think you might need to change your droplinks too for the arb, could be wrong on that though havent done it yet Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk

Which ones did you go for? Are they significantly stiffer than oem? Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk

Sorry to dig up an old thread, but I seem to have this intermittent issue too now, last couple days on semi warm starts (few hours off). Cranks for a good few seconds before starting. Did you get this sorted at RRG? My battery is 60ah and sounds like it's powering it fine, so wondering if it could be fuelling...

Is remapping nessecary if installing uel header?
willclarke replied to Curtthrasher01's topic in Modifications
It'll probably throw a CEL from o2 sensor (assuming it's catless manifold you're looking at) and then you'll lose cruise control but not sure if this can be cleared with torque app each time. Also heard risk of it running slightly rich if not mapped but don't think this is a big deal short term Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk -
Glad to hear another happy customer, I'll be doing the same thing (with JDL uel) in Feb / March, hope TD aren't too booked up! Its great to consistently read good things about this tune for this car at TD, so many seem to be staying NA because the results are significant enough to do so! Looking forward to it Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk

As the title suggests, how have your experiences been with getting work done at Milton Keynes or Bedford Toyota? I'm looking to get my recall done there as I don't trust Peterborough, and don't really fancy travelling 3 hours unless necessary to RRG Macclesfield. Cheers Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk

Sounds like RRG Macclesfield are going to be busy then! Appreciate your comments guys cheers, sounds like a lot of us are in the same boat about confidence with some of the local dealerships Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk -

Ok good to know. I take it they'll need the car for a day or so then. They're both pretty much the same distance so I'd probably rather go RRG. Have you booked yours in? Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk -

That would be really good if they were chosen! They'd have quite a queue though haha. I may bite the bullet and head to RRG otherwise Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk -

Well yes, but what I mean is its a shared platform with subaru.. Would be handy if the local subaru dealer was more clued up with these (brz) than the Toyota dealer! Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk -

I wonder if we'd be able to go to subaru? I guess it's 'mainly' their engine (open to be corrected here) Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk -

Ah bugger that's Bedford crossed off then Yes fensport is close but this is just for the valve spring recall and don't really fancy paying for it Any others east Midlands with a good experience? Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk -

I'd love to come along to this next time, probably stick me at the back though! Are the roads busy or do you generally get to enjoy them without bother? Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk

I've got 2 more new ones in the garage ready to fit in a few weeks time just wanted to get the grip onto the front with the new ones for the time being Sounds like I just need to get used to this, just weirdly liked how direct the 'old/worn' tyres felt over these. Would go for a stiffer tyre next time but quite like the slippyness of these primacys so guess I can't have it all! Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk

Just put 2 new primacy hps on the 86,on the front. They are noticeably softer on turn in, and not quite as direct as the old ones (end of life) , even though they are the exact same tyre, same pressure and even same speed rating. I had them on the back initially and felt it there before swapping over (rotating tyres). Do new tyres 'bed in' and stiffen up? Any advice appreciated! Cheers Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
