It looks like my big end bearing has gone... d'oh! Anyone any suggestions of where I can take it to be fixed in the Northwest (near to Liverpool)? I called RRG Macclesfield but they haven't got back to me and Tuning Develoments are moving premises right now so I can't get hold of them.

Hi. I have a horrible droning noise from.my rear nearside and i am thinking it is the wheel bearing. Has anyone used any aftermarket wheel bearings that are reliable? Update... I went to RRG Toyota in Macclesfield and I can highly recommend them. Everyone I spoke to knew what they were talking about and the service receptionists were clued up on mods etc. Turned out to be the offside wheel bearing. They replaced it and the noise is gone. I had a courtasy car and they even washed the car for me. Top class all round.

When you say to swap the bleed nipples from bottom to top, did your calipers have a port at both ends? I have so WRX PRO branded scooby calipers but they don't have the port at the opposite end (gonna get them refurbed). However there is a nice boss where I could drill a port.

Torque went from 145 ftlbs to 160 ftlbs but eliminated the between 3000 and 5000 rpm. I didn't know that I had a sound generator??

Hi guys, I have just had a NA tune up done and CAT back exhaust fitted at Tuning Developments in Warrington and I just had to share how amazing it is. Tuning Developments were great throughout. What I have now is amazing. Horsepower is increased by about 20 with a more linear delivery. Feels great. The best part about it is the noise from the exhaust. I am not a young hooligan so I didn't want something that was stupidly loud. What I have now is perfect. It has a lovely deep throaty growl at idle, louder that my stock exhaust and much deeper but not so loud that I will wake the neighbours when I head out in the mornings. Similar when driving with a steady throttle at a fixed speed, the noise is lovely but not massively loud. The real joy comes when you put your foot down... it is just an absolutely perfect deep rumbling loud noise... amazing. I also get a bit of a burble when coming off the throttle. It makes me smile every time. I haven't had it noise tested so I don't know the numbers but someone I know had it done and they registered 95 dB on a track day. I would seriously recommend getting this done.

Thanks guys. I bought a second hand Toyita unit to add to my standard Toyota radio. I bought the antenna off Ebay and tried it in various locations... including outside on the roof. The sat nav coordinates are correct when comparing to those on my phone but the position on the map is not correct. Does anyone else use a non-Toyota gps antenna with any success??

Thanks guys. I'll get it checked out at the dealer when I get time.

Had my 2012 GT86 for about a month now and the vibration of the rearview mirror is really annoying me. Anything over 30 mph and it vibrates so much that everything behind me is a blurr (I can imagine everyone asking me why I am looking in the rearview mirror... lol). Anyone found a replacement that doesn't vibrate?
