    Budget - more power

If it's for street driven then turbo or PD supercharger would be what I would consider. The PD blowers (Cosworth/Harrop/Sprintex) are all easy to install if you want to save yourself a bit of cash. A Sprintex kit can be found for less than the rest these days and for a road car would do just what you ask, I still enjoy mine

    6 years / 60,000 mile service

I'm at 6 years but 30k. Sparks will not be getting replaced this year.

    Mix and match exhausts

The Cobra is a cat-back, as is the TD system. Neither are just a back-box.

    UEL Manifold rest stock

The OP doesn't really make much of a difference. Just remember that Fensport don't dyno tune, numbers rarely make the "estimated" figures.

    Anyone know this car?

It's got aftermarket wheels (TSW) and lights (Valenti). Mods are common, highly unlikely any cars are a grey import as the UK spec is good. That definitely is a UK car.

Reliability putting me off the 86.

8 years?!? Are we suddenly at the back end of 2020?

    Rear brake pads fell out......?

He said: I reckon you can just about make that out from the photo. Whilst I kind of agree that owners should check over the car, I would say that on a car purchased from a dealer of some sort (who should be doing checks themselves remember) that you wouldn't be expected to check whether the right type of disc was fitted. They are not that visually different and I wouldn't expect anyone but an expert to pick that up. For example, how many long term owners here even suggested that it was a possible cause ;) Fluids, tread depth, pressures etc can be checked by anyone but I bet no-one here who's bought a 2nd hand car thought to check which type of rear brake discs were fitted, namely because they were only sold here in the single spec I'd imagine.

    Rear brake pads fell out......?

This now needs to be raised, as that could have been an incredibly dangerous/fatal mistake to make. It's not acceptable and it needs to be flagged so they don't potentially do it again!

    Life after 5 year old

Probably worth checking if the warranty would even cover coil packs. They are easy to replace yourself and the cost is a fraction of that £400..... A quick look suggests £85ish https://www.pointmeby.com/2017/09/10/86-brz-frs-p0351-cel-p0353-coil-pack-how-fix/ Toyota PN: SU003-05259 Subaru PN: 22433AA730

    TPMS???

No. I believe that it's built into the dash cluster module rather than the ECU. You can have 2 sets and reprogram it every time you swap the wheels over, or swap over the system to the new wheels.

    Litchfield/Rotrex supercharger

Not many people fitted the Litchfield kit. The best comparison is the base Jackson Racing or Kraftwerks kits from the US as they use the same blower and similar setup.

HKS Supercharger failed after less than 10k miles

Oddly quite a few failures in Russia but more in the USA.

    Right diff oil

Doesn't matter. The LS is essentially just designed to handle higher heat.

    Leaking Shocks

Different dampers on the newer car. Not seen any reports on the US forum.

Uel mot emissions failure friendly garage needed

At fast idle there should be 0 difference tuning difference between fuels. Typically the car is in closed loop for these tests so I would expect this to be less tuning related as the ECU will always target around 14.7. Unless the tune calls for it to drop out of CL of course. I would suggest the cat isn't generating enough heat to work properly. This could be the reason the OEM uses 2 due to variance in quality and degradation. However it could also be an indication that the O2 sensor is going, damage can occur when swapping between manifold and a datalog might show what's going on.

    Blanco Question

Are you sure? I believe the white paint codes changed at some point around 2014/2015..... Even different batches of the same colour code pearl white won't match perfectly.

Easter Offer! Cosworth Supercharger VAT FREE

Seems like these weren't answered. The answer is yes and yes. There are not many changes required between 1.0-1.2 but the manifold design will necessitate specific cam requirements. Same can be said for any manifold, so the 1.3 settings will not be optimum for most other manifolds. Can you even get the Cossie manifold now? I thought Nameless stopped making them quite a while back.
