It's as good as the sensor is scaled to but the sensors still seems to vary from car to car. So it's a ballpark figure especially once below 13:1 as it loses accuracy the further away from stoich.

Stupid website, can't edit the post.... taken from what Ade, the inaccurate OEM sensor? Don't forget the dyno will read tail pipe mixtures. Inherently leaner plus add in a cat too. The cylinder mixtures will be richer than the graph, possibly 0.5 or more.

What's "weird" with the torque? The AFRs look much better on the recent run though, looks lean on the initial dyno. Would explain why it currently feels smoother.

Someone on the US forum said they were having issues with logging believed to be the new firmware update. I assume your using the correct logcfg.txt file?

The blue run is overall the better run, the red power run is only above for about 900RPM out of the 5000 on the chart...

Finishing off what someone else started:) BRZ

Out of interest, how have you managed more boost from a remap? -
The bigger TVS based kits (Harrop/Edelbrock) seem to be able to produce similar torque at the top end to the decent centifugal systems. The Sprintex is out of its optimal efficency in the upper RPM band, the TVS1320 is probably bang on the money (I've not looked at the data). Mark, he clearly knows his stuff.... who would want a turbo....

You're supposed to wrap behind it a little which will stop it lifting. I did mine in brushed metal, makes it look a bit more high end IMO.

Fine by me then I actually think the small coupe look is great, kind of like the BMW Z Coupes. I have no hair to be buffeted around either, and I think this would still give any near stock BRZ/86 a good seeing to on track too. The MX-5s have always done this. I know a simple remap seems to open up some power quite easily, just had a look at ECUteks Skyactiv-G pages.... Not sure how well the engine would respond to bigger changes but probably better engineered than the FA20.

Already on Mazda UKs website: http://www.mazda.co.uk/cars/coming-soon-mazda-mx-5-rf/ I quite like. If it comes in comparable prices to the facelift BRZ/86 then this would be my pick.

You're on older software. The latest RaceROM patches fixed this.

Tell thevDVLA of the engine swap, see what they say. Usually MOT and tax depends on engine from my previous experience.
-
Don't see why not. None of the panels appear to have changed. Same with the front. I can only find prices online for the current one in Euros.... 272 + Taxes.... per side

There's quite a lot of info about the Mountune ST on the web. Me

Not sure if the lights are like Valentis.... these actually look ok. If people start selling up these wheels then I'll happily have them as my road wheels.

Funny, I think the wheels look massively better than the 1st gen and the front is horrible.

What I'd be interested in is seeing graphs of just the Harrop 4.1/4.44/4.67. The top graph suggests that 3rd-5th gear there is little in it between 4.1 and 4.67 but then the Cossie has a little extra torque at the top end based on the dyno plots.- 101 replies

It may well be on an FI car. If you have load of torque you'd likely be able to use it better with something like a 3.9. That's why I think anything over a ~4.56 on a manual FI car will just be too much. Autos tend to favour a shorter FD for obvious reasons.- 101 replies

I concur (for a manual). Shame about no 4.56, I reckon 4.67 would be a little too lairy and drink fuel for daily driving on an SC. I think 4.44 would still be a good upgrade, especially if more boost is on the horizon.- 101 replies

I would recommend YoSpeed, they still have some of the standard designs left. I had this made up for mine by them:
-
Worldwide emissions regs. The OEM cat in front pipe is good enough to pass MOT on it's own.
-
I believe it's a copy of the original Nameless design. Reviews: http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=86460 http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=88937 Yep, and I reckon that's what they sold. The exhausts can also be found on the website The very cheap manifolds are barely an upgrade from stock, but may add power if the fitment and build quality is good and then hope the welds hold up over time. There seems to be very few knock offs of decent manifolds though, bar the PLM one above and one that looks similar to HKS. If you compare the cheap ones to the OEM manifold, the runner design looks very close.

They probably do, just not on this platform: https://www.topgear.co.uk/toyota-gt86-and-subaru-brz-manifold-with-sports-cats is definitely the same as http://www.alibaba.com/product-detail/Stainless-Steel-exhaust-header-manifold-for_60386035801.html?spm=a2700.7724857.29.172.gxQ8Z5 $64 + shipping if you request a sample

Top Gear? These are just one of many of the Chinese made versions.... want it even cheaper? Look no further: http://www.alibaba.com/showroom/gt86-header.html
