I believe the gearbox mounting is different too, so custom work required. Plus the bonus of having to get a custom manifold for the turbo and extra bits that needs too for the turbo. The DIT also hasn't got much headroom as the injectors aren't a simple swap. Remember that DI does help with FI and having a high CR actually helps turbo spool.
-
Shame it's not a direct swap....

Surely if for TSS then weight comes before looks and being "unique"? TSS shoes, I'd have these

That does not look like that should be there!! Everything in the wheel wells are plastic retaining clips. That's either road debris or someone has used that in place of a plastic clip, I really hope it's not the latter. Just rip it out!
-
Nope, especially with your bonnet vents I'd go for the AM kit.
-
I'd rather the DAMD one, a little bit less garish and based on a much nicer car..... If you like the Aimgain, just go buy an RC-F
-
Those bodykits look awful... especially the Lexus one...
-
Lighter brakes will aid braking performance if all else is equal...
-
That's not really how it works....

I thought Adrian based his power figures from the MAF? Seeing as your intake is completely different the MAF values would be way off and therefore pretty hard to compare.... There is no easy way to tell power from datalogs.

Yeah, auto and manual have the same FD. I would typically advise 4.44/4.56 for a manual and the next one up for an auto, 4.56/4.67, for NA cars.
-
It's the same as the auto, 4.1. Its only the gear ratios that are different.

FT86Club might have some answers. For a cable the best bet is to speak to the vendors on here.

Already sorted ;)

Dan from Adrian Flux Insurance Services
Kodename47 replied to DAN@ADRIAN FLUX's topic in Insurance Companies
Adrian Flux unbeatable for the 3rd year in a row. Policy moved from Highways to Equity Red Star and the policy dropped £150 in the process. Most other companies just told me to take the policy due to the price as they couldn't come close -
Indeed, long tube design that can also be used as a turbo manifold. I believe that the FA20Club one was the one bought into the UK though. The turbo mounting location is different on the P&L P&L FA20Club (darted version)

Unexpected things you Disike about the GT86
Kodename47 replied to remal's topic in GT86/BRZ General Chat
The car is DBW, all easily mapped how you want it (kinda). -
.... that in no way resembles the FA20Club one

There are 3 clips, they are actually labelled A, B and C on the clip. They should all look the same, like a U. They do slide in and out of the back of the unit.
-
They should be flush with the car, if they aren't then there's a chance it's a sign of the front bumper sagging. Common in Subarus and mine is suffering. If you are missing the clips then they can be bought from the US: http://www.fteightysix.com/appearance/sidemarker-clips-pair/#.VlYSifnhDIV Not seen them anywhere else, searching for sidemarker clips on FT86club is probably your best bet.

I have memories of Thruxton in a Formula Renault and being overtaken round a corner by Tiff Needell drifting in an M3. Its a fast circuit especially in a car with that much grip and zero weight.... I forgot to breathe for quite a bit of the lap.

I have the right tyres, just not for the TSS and frankly I'm not going to waste money on a 3rd set of tyres. I'd run my NS2Rs but I believe that puts me straight into a Pro class. The nearest round for me is well over 2 hours away, I'd like to take part but it'd likely be only one round. However I said that at the beginning of this year....
-
I would, but I don't have the time for the predominantly northern rounds and for a few other reasons too.... Plus I wouldn't be there competing either as I doubt I'll stand much chance on the Primacys and my other tyres are in the wrong list.

Take some spare axles Smudge, I'd be surprised if the stock ones last a couple of drag launches with your torque.... ;)

Google is you friend: http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/fiat/92230/extreme-abarth-124-spider-to-join-comfortable-fiat-version# Rumours for the 1.75 turbo lump from the 4C etc. Detuned though but at ~200bhp and lots of torques then it will be a monster. I have to say that when I saw the top pic I thought someone had put a Viper replica kit on a MX-5, not terribly a fan. Never thought that after Chrysler let Fiat engineers put TwinAir engines into the Viper that they'd return the favour and let the Dodge lads style the 124....
