Fix for 'chirpy' fuel pump at RRG Macc

Then it's a bit of a random posting.... I bet they also have fixes for: AVCS issues causing idle dip or worse Rusty front quarter window support Poor performing batteries Water in rear view mirrors Or any other known warranty issue...... -
I agree, you'll notice no change with an HFC or decat system.
-
WHP, it's an American dyno. Still a FR-S/BRZ dyno sheet.
-
Standard system is 2.15". You can mate any front pipe (cat/decat) though as the flanges are all the same. Make sure you don't damage the doughnut gasket on swapping.

Hasn't this fix been around for a while. Not just RRG either, all dealers are able to get these ;) -
Don't put oil onto your MAF sensor then!!! Oiled filters are not a problem. I don't know of anyone who has run a K&N that has had issues, myself included.
-
Yes. Most include the cost of the license in the 1st tune.
-
You can't directly flash OFT maps via ECUtek due to the launch control and FFS intercepts that the OFT maps have, however it's simple enough to sort out. Cable and dongle come as a package. This is what allows you to flash a car and open maps etc. The ECUtek license is flashed to the ECU when you upload the 1st map, this means that your ECU is now able to have ECUtek tunes flashed to it. You only need the license once for the 1st flash and is ECU specific.
-
Dual AVCS, so both intake and exhaust cams. Want to see an example? Go grab stock files and the OFT tunes and a copy of Romraider. There is power to be made with the cams, even on a standard setup.
-
Not really, it's manifold runner lengths (Both I & E) that cause the dip.

Chrome, mobile and laptop both experience similar issues.

Nope, they flare...

That's why hub dynos rock..... no wheel or tyre loss changes to take into account.

I just want a list of updated threads, or recent threads. I don't want every single bloody post. I can't find how to do that in the 20 activity screen options that seem to have appeared. I'm not against change but every update makes this place less user friendly. Handy if you're a computer nerd, not if you just want to quickly log on. I half agreed with the OP when this thread was created but now it's crap. I'll also note that making posts becomes a fight, I can't manually use html inserts without it fighting me and it adding random repeats of words/letters I've typed is really annoying. The textbox sometimes has a mind of it's own so I often just give up....
-
It just got worse....
-
Yes. Yes, I organised a group buy as they were the 1st in the country to have tuned the 86 and were the only ECUtek people at the time.
-
Right and wrong That was a Litchfield tune. I have also run an Abbey tune, which was nice and linear but never dyno'd. Both of those are a few years back. That dyno is at Abbey and I know Mark's figures have always shown similar. I'm supercharged now so it's largely irrelevant.
-
For context, this is mine stock vs remap:
-
It beeps at you if that's the issue to say that it's tried to lock but can't. Sounds like the OP is experiencing an issue that it's not even trying to lock.

Sounds like lower rather than better are the order of the day here.... Eibachs Speedline would be the "sensible" choice, 35mm lower all round, go cheaper if you couldn't care about a loss in handling. Go too low and the shocks will have a much shorter life. None of the better handling kits drop any more than 25mm and most are around 20mm.
