Supagard on a used car - worth it?
Kodename47 replied to Mark_Swaddle's topic in Cleaning & Detailing
It's just paint sealant like any other. I have the stuff as I got it free when I bought the car, I'll use up the tube of it eventually. Would I pay for it from a dealer, hell no -
Great car to go back to Lee!

Oil pressure datalogging_ECUTEK oil pressure trips
Kodename47 replied to Mark@Abbey M/S's topic in Abbey Motorsports
ECUtek allows making custom tables to create this kind of features. You would need an analog pressure gauge to be wired in for something like this to be done. It's a powerful bit of software, toying with the maps is good fun.- 10 replies

The one to watch is still the S1000 IMO. The S660 is cool and the Mugen one is looking a bit crazy. I always did like the Beat though for it's quirky character and Kei cars are cool when done well. This sits just above those though I guess. Love the old S800, AZ1, Beat and Cappucino...

It's has a delay before the cut kicks in. Don't worry, these things have been considered- 10 replies

Your post has disappeared dude...

What are you ordering? Just an FYI that there have been known issues with some Valenti lights and I'd expect the replicas (which are very hard to tell apart) to be more prone to failing. The issues are the indicator LEDs can fail in small batches. You wouldn't want to spend a couple of hundred quid to find out you need to buy another set as you have no comeback about warranty. Some things are worth the extra for more piece of mind.

If the Sprintex is going then the Strut bar also has to make way. This is the Carbon version of the Cusco strut tower brace with integrated master cylinder brace. It is actually the same Aluminium brace wrapped in Carbon Fiber. These seem to be quite hard to come by in RHD variants at the moment but I'm selling this priced to go. Photo of it fitted: Photo before installation: Looking for £175 delivered -

Oops, location would be good. I'm in Sussex, so not really that local Paypal would be fine, drop me a PM dude if you want. -
Yes, use petrol. Diesel isn't suitable....
-
The standard car peaks at 6800, you can get it a little higher but not over 7k. It's due to the intake setup.

Does he want a GT-R though?

No, I meant the same as you, FRC's website is http://www.powerspeed.co.uk/ I nearly went to them for my custom backbox last year but the reviews and distance made it seem like it wasn't an option. Maybe going forward they could be. JP are a good option up north but I'd say you have H&S for same kind of cost and quality on this side of the border. http://www.haywardandscott.com/subaru/subaru-brz.html Those are likely to be 2.5" but they already have the jig to make them so to upsize shouldn't be much of a problem, numerous old turbo CRX guys used to run H&S 3" systems and were very complimentary.

Powerspeed? Are they actually any good? Most reviews I could find seem to be on Corsa/Fiesta websites so I never trusted them.... those on Pistonheads were very mixed.

Just unbolts, the stick on plate appears to cover the holes it leaves. -
Dan, it may be worth looking into policies that will allow the addition of track cover for a reduced cost, or is that something you do already? I have been insured through yourselves for 2 years now as no one else got close and the above would be awesome.

I would just find those type of warnings annoying. If you want a decent camera with GPS that's still very discrete then you don't have to part with more than £70. Add a tenner for a memory card and another for a hard wire kit if you want it to be able to film events when you're away from the vehicle.

Just buy a Mini 0805 and be done Top quality at nearly half the price.
-
I have this done, I''m not NA though. It's better than the eBay manifolds anyway.

150 miles a day. Bigger the better and Diesel is an option. I did a search for cars with tax of less than £100, so these have been thrown up: VW Passat Audi A3 (Mrs has one, not sure I want 2 on the driveway) Ford Focus & Mondeo (Only the 1.6TDCi in that tax bracket, been told to avoid). Honda Insight/Civic IMA VolvoV50
