Only time I've noticed it on track is when you avoid dropping a gear for a corner when you'll be near the top of the rev range so stay in 1 gear higher. Rest of the time, you're above the torque dip. It's immediately noticeable on the road though
-
I believe they treat it the same as a road claim so it probably does.
-
That doesn't seem right considering mine was a large chunk lower on the same underwriter, that and CK are allowed to undercut by 10%
-
They were "ok" with my roof and aero fins but not a full wrap. Cost extra so went elsewhere come renewal. They're being a bit screwed from their underwriter tbh as other companies with the same underwriter will cover wraps fine

Resonated Catback, want it to be louder! - Suggestions?
Mike replied to Tsarlz's topic in GT86/BRZ General Chat
It's a milltek? Just wait a few days/weeks/months and it'll crack and be louder -
Ask @rob275 how he got in his!

My mistake, the middle one is black already isn't it? Let me know on the postage once you know, cheers.
-
So, 3 AC vents, gear stick surround, tc/vsc buttons, steering wheel trim, door pull covers, vertical bits either side of the clock a/c controls etc... if that list is right, any ideas how much postage would be?
-
There are cheaper ones available, can't remember which they were but Gary knows which ones.
-
Does the black interior bits include both of the interior door handles as well (one to open the door / one to pull it shut)?
-
We mostly know that heat causes it and so highly spirited driving or track days can cause it. So you need a poll of people who track their cars and see who has / hasn't had them go yet...
-
I think Lauren was replying to your comment that her reversing on to her drive was exactly what the feature was for, when, as she explained, it's not, it's for when people drive forwards on to their drive. If you're not at home, chances are the car park or street has lighting, and if there is a power cut, then you've got 30 seconds to get where you're going before being plunged into darkness anyway

Keeps costs down... pretty sure these just fit on top... http://www.ft86speedfactory.com/gcs-trd-style-abs-aero-fins-2018.html

There's plenty of cheap ones that sit on top

Can you knock a 0 off the end? As nice as they look, the ZE40s are more than double what I've spent on 2 and a half sets of wheels
-
I've found mine to be better recently (or I've just finally got used to it?) Granted while it's been frosty in the morning I've had to wait for the windscreen to demist before setting off so it's probably warmed up enough by then
-
Yellow/orange light? Sounds like the fob battery is running out, replace and it'll be fine.
-
Is it definitely 2014 cars? Considering the abuse mine has had, I would have expected to have killed at least one of them...

Depends on the TDO, bookatrack will want a cage, javelin as Will pointed out, don't - unless the circuit does.

I've never felt the steering to be heavy, except when dropping off a yaris courtesy car... then you notice it big time and wonder what they've done to your car!

Swanky Head unit, STI Brakes, last of my bits : (
Mike replied to jevvy's topic in For Sale GT86 / BRZ Parts
Side fenders... are they the standard ones? If so, 2nd.. well 3rd hand, they're not worth £80! The problem you've got jevvy is that people can see what you've paid for it, you're going to piss people by wanting more than what you paid for it. Second hand parts alone plummet in value the second they're on a car or even out of the box. No one would be paying 75%+ of the cost for something second hand unless it's unopened. I've been interested in a few things you've sold / put up for sale in the past but always put off by the high prices for second/third hand bits. Granted, items are worth what someone is willing to pay, but don't be surprised when people start asking questions when you start trying to sell several items at the same as what you bought or for more. Have a look through the other for sale threads on here, you'll see plenty of "I've bought this recently off X for £Y but never fitted so looking to get near that" - that's how you re-sell something you bought.
