Greenlight were a no brainer for me, they were lower than the best case premium I had in mind when I was renewing.

Is there an easy way to clean inside rear window?
Mike replied to The Minion's topic in Cleaning & Detailing
If you've got the standard brake light, it takes like 30 seconds to remove. There's a plug in the boot to disconnect it then it just slides off from what I know... -
Agreed on the throttle map, I've been thinking about asking Mike about it as mine is pretty jerky leaving the estate as you can't go over ~10mph for a while. Tried it with the standard map and it felt like the throttle pedal wasn't connected at all! Switched back to my normal map when I thought I was coasting and got a lurch forward as it adjusted to the new sensitivity prompting a complaint from my passenger

This. Got told last year on the way out that they were pretty much at the limit of cars and I couldn't tell once I was out!

Do it! Then I'll buy them off you when you want to change them

Same for me...

If you're unsure of being on track with others, I'd recommend novice days that MSV do. They'll be in 20min sessions and everyone will go out for the 20 minutes, so hang back at the start and you'll end up with the track to yourself effectively.

That's more the pedal dance thing isn't it? There's a thread on the ft86 forum about it. If I get round to it, I'd want something that'd plug into the buttons so you don't have to mess around with soldering/splicing the existing wires

Dunno if the Cusco one is different, but I'm sure I saw one that effectively simulated the 3 second button press (ie just had the button contacts engaged for 3 seconds on start up)... could probably make one for next to nothing!

I block shift a lot on the road, and it's a piece of piss to rev match, I know how much to blip for 1 gear down so do it twice lift the clutch and the rev needle doesn't move at all. Not seeing how that can be bad for the car. As for the advanced motoring / police saying how to hold the steering wheel... don't they say how most of us drive - ie don't shuffle the wheel because it's slow?

If it's louder than the stock exhaust, it's technically not legal.

It's much better if you just pick a location, date and time otherwise it just becomes a long drawn out process of people suggesting when they'd want to meet up and leads to it never happening

Just keep going round, I'll distract Dan and co, they won't notice

Can borrow mine next Wednesday at Curbs?

Have you got any readings to show the difference between what Torque gives for oil temperature and what your gauge gives?

Bit late but thanks for the pic. Fitted a set today (plate + reverse), just need to try them out when it's dark now but can tell they'll be brighter!
