I'm half tempted so I have a set as a back up!
-
Should be fine, Chester's 40mins away so not toooooo far
-
To me that'd depend on the MOT tester. Could simply put "not tested as no sensors fitted"
-
is it illuminated if they can't see it?
-
Much better than last series, wanted to see David Tennant's hitting whatever he hit though
-
I think we need to start putting names on those, everyone has them! Think @Keethos has one so could be his?
-
Gloss black on mine never stays clean enough for long enough to make a difference @Paul unless you're changing the wheel colour, it's not going to matter
-
What Lauren said, black wheels just don't work as they get lost with the tyres and arches and any shadows.
-
Might get round to sorting a camera out so you can see the wheel / dash and see if it does come on. I almost always see the shift light flashing at me so would expect I'd see the stability one too.
-
I always thought it only came on when the car was actually doing something. I should probably be paying less attention to it anyway
-
With the slide that makes sense, just I've rarely ever seen the traction light flashing at me with it all off. Only time it has is under heavy braking and when driving on snow
-
In sport mode right? Not sure how you managed to get it to slide that much
-
People are paying attention to it more because for a chunk of drivers, it means losing their license - it's like how a lot of people will happily speed because 3 points isn't a lot but will keep it under 100mph to avoid an instant ban. Because of the potential for a lot of people to lose their license, people are now pointing out the stupid scenarios it applies to... for example... Note: The law applies, but enforced? Very unlikely...
-
Looked at those previously, cost seems a bit high to me though
-
I know it's the Daily Mail but I wanted to laugh at people's stupidity knowing the police would be out checking people for the first week or so... but on http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4271246/Drivers-caught-using-mobile-phones-wheel-again.html?ito=social-facebook there's a quote that could be entirely wrong (because Daily Mail) but...
-
That's entirely why the law exists, "driving without due care and attention" would cover using a phone while driving but they wanted a blanket ban on it so it became illegal to use one at all.
-
If your head unit supports hands free calls, you'll interact with the head unit which is legal... unless it distracts you of course
-
Sounds like nothing has changed really, they're just trying to make "driving without due care and attention" more black and white. Thing is, while it's illegal to stop at the side of the road with the engine running and text someone to tell them what time you'll be arriving, what copper would pull you up on it?
-
Sounds about right. Anyway, 2 presses of the start button with foot off the clutch and reverse light works for future reference.
-
I've got Hel lines... on my table at home, will be going on the car next month though, just need to sort some new brake pads first.
-
Should... I know the handbrake does something to the front lights, just can't remember what
-
Might need to take the handbrake off?
-
@Lauren might be worth checking if J7 of the M56 is open this weekend as it was closed last weekend and is meant to close on others I think... I'm assuming you'd come that way?
-
I know the foam insert for the full size spare (dunno if it's different) was a silly enough price for me not to bother with it...
-
@Church already got the boot liner, doesn't really take up much space tbh, only thing you lose is the flatness to the boot. One major upside that I found in Scotland was I can wedge my suitcase against it and the bootlid and it doesn't move about at all!
