Just the 5 sec button press for TC off. Braking was my initial thought as it'd be the direction the rubber is being pulled when slowing down but then I figured it'd be more along the surface rather than pulling it upwards?
-
Wouldn't that be on the trailing edge? The raised bits are on the leading edge (the edge that'll hit the road first as the tyre rotates)
-
35 minutes was about as long as it took for me to get through to someone and then them to actually find the mods I'd already declared after telling me "there are no mods on your policy"
-
Just to clarify as the 3rd pic is a tad misleading, it's the tread blocks on the outside that looks like they've been bent up at the leading edge (going across the tyre) so looking at the top of the tyre side on, the top of the tread block looks like |____ To answer the camber question as it could come in to it, 2deg on the fronts
-
Does that cause the traction/stability light to flash (even when TC is off)?
-
Are you sure it's the diff and not the brakes on the rears? That makes a noise when it's stopping you from having fun. Even with TC fully off you can still get the traction light flashing at you, not sure what it's doing at that point though...

Nice choice of wheels
-
If you want the wheels, ask the seller to send a photo of the PCD on the wheel with the current date/time on it. If they're selling many wheels they could easily have uploaded the wrong one or they just re-use the images?
-
Depends who you ask, I'd rather have them than not personally, just go for metal ones. I no longer have them because the wheels I've got now are 56.1mm centre bore. Is it possible they've got several sets for sale and the picture is wrong?
-
Centre bore isn't a major thing really - I'd avoid the plastic spigot rings though as the ones I had shrunk on the front so they just fall out whenever the wheel is vertical-ish which was rather annoying when putting the wheels on and the spigot rings just fall out.
-
Don't forget those others that weigh the same...
-
Gone from wheels at 10.5kg to 8.2kg and you can definitely notice the difference...
-
If it was about change, I wouldn't like any of it Fine with the lights / wing / interior (except the steering wheel controls) but the bumper/grill just looks wrong

Looks terrible!

Hopeful future BRZ owner, need some advice
Mike replied to Ben halliwell's topic in GT86/BRZ General Chat
Should be fine, I spent my first 18 months of driving in a 1.2 Corsa then got my GT86. Insurance wasn't much more (less than £100 extra I think) with 2 years NCB. As others have said though, the increase in power means cruising up to speeds you shouldn't be doing is a lot easier! -
Other than it says in the regulations, what Ade says above doesn't suggest a major advantage?
-
What class would you go in? N1 Pro appears to have disappeared and the only others are F/I classes.
-
Forgot it was on, put it on, saw Eddie being Eddie and switched it back off.
-
Could well make the trip down...
-
Both of them together is half the price of a single OEM one - so overall, a quarter of the price!
-
You sure it's fixed? Still looks orange to me! Seriously though, awesome news!
-
You mean he's not the tea boy?
-
Welcome to the club, I think I've seen you around before?
-
I *think* you can blag a replacement off Rota, if not, go to a track and wait for someone else's to pop off...
-
Where's the wing mirror and door handle gone? If you've seen the wing off the car, is the sill part of it? Need to look into getting mine fixed!
