    Peak district blast May 8th

Going to have to bail as well Mark. A few hours of sleep to catch up on from Friday night!

Presumably there are labour charges you can save by doing simpler things yourself? Does the quote include a new headlight? If you can fix the brackets, that's an easy save...

You should be able to find a headlight nowadays, there's at least 1 company who races the GT86 that has replaced the headlights with dummies and I'm pretty sure there's been a few posts on FB about people braking the cars up for spare parts...

So if you wait until after the 11th May you won't get one until October at the earliest?

    JapFest Northwest Hotel Convoy

Might be worth noting that there may be a whole bunch of footy fans making the journey down to Wembley tomorrow so the M6 could be particular busy!

    Stretched tyres - Legality

If you were inside the spec of what Yokohama say, I'd have that printed off and ready to show anyone who pulls you over, but as you're out of the spec for the tyres, I wouldn't be risking it personally. As you say, its points per wheel which means if someone is having a bad day, you've got no license.

    Bob the budget GT86

Looks about right, not too dissimilar to my 7.5 et35s that I've got on currently. My TDs are et37 (still 17x7.5) though as they wouldn't do et35 for some reason! But for the price paid I'm not complaining, may help me not kerb them as well

Looking good, what size / offset are they?
  15. Yea, the drivers were fine, I even had someone back up to let me past even though I was just past a passing place! The sheep on the other hand... Roads were great, some were rather bumpy which wasn't the best for my stiffening suspension at speed so had quite a bumpy ride at times and the traction light flickering round corners. All in all, an awesome trip even if I did need to leave a day early, thanks again for organising Chris!

    That'll be fixed soon enough...
  20. I'll aim for the hostel in Inverness around 6pm then seeing as it's a ~6 hour drive!
  21. Sounds like a plan to me, was going to suggest convoying up on the Saturday but as you'll be in Scotland by then that may be difficult
  22. @Kristov4 what's the plan for Saturday - just meet at the hotel at some point before dinner? @Rich are you driving up on the Friday or Saturday?
