Noooo I could have sworn you got yours after mine? How soon do you have to give it back?
-
That'd be great if you could.
-
That's a point Lauren... Mark - what time would we be meeting?
-
Nice knowing you Mark 8th May is fine so far for me.
-
I can do the 17th!
-
Where abouts is the chip? Call me blind but I can't see it on the first pic
-
I would, but I'll be in Scotland, also, last time I went through Leek I counted at least a dozen speed cameras inside 10mins!
-
I'd give it a few weeks, pretty sure mine got quieter, not set another car alarm off yet

From Javelin's site (others may vary obviously)... "The meter is placed at 0.5metres away from each exhaust outlet at a 45 degrees angle both horiizontally and vertically. The driver will be asked to rev the vehicle to 3/4s of it maximum engine revs. The reading will then be taken. In exceptional cirumstance some venue operators (not all) may increase this distance to 1 metre. This version of the test is usually only used if it is suspected that mechanical noise is giving a false reading. Rear engined car for example." Never seen anyone test both pipes though... Seeing as you mention noise, have you got the full system or just catback? Or does the manifold make that much difference to noise?

Car park was pretty full (maybe 3 spaces left?) on Friday night, so depending on how many, parking could be an issue.- 235 replies

... with hamburgers!

That's from toyota's blog post, seems like the dash is the same as current models for the GT86.
-
True, then again the mention of having an 86 logo on the steering wheel suggests the entire thing is aimed at the US market and how the ending of Scion is being handled.
-
Has anyone else noticed what appears to be a reversing camera on one of the rear images?
-
Probably depends on car / head unit but the after market one I had in my corsa still kept the steering controls working
-
Wonder if the rear lights will be a straight swap for current models... then again, how much would they cost...
-
I like the rear lights, not sure on the front, it just looks odd, the bonnet looks like it has a bit of a bulge in it?
-
Not yet, might get chance this weekend!
-
Awesome, thanks again! How do you want paying?
-
Just the screw in part?
-
Just to check, those dates are "the night of" stays right? I was planning on driving back on the Wednesday so if they are, I think accommodation is sorted for me. Thanks for sorting Chris.

Over the past couple of days, when going full lock to the right the last 45 degrees or so has been producing a creaking noise (predictably it didn't coming home today as I was going to record it but it sounds like https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KaaJrfeV918 though). Seems to be relatively common on other cars but can't find anyone having the issue on our cars, assuming it is the clock spring (the noise is definitely coming from there) - now that it's stopped making a noise, is it worth leaving or having it checked out?
