I've always had it in sport mode (it slightly annoys me if that lights aren't on) except the first week or so I had the car. At times it seems to cut in early but if you're progressive with the rear sliding out it usually lets you carry on. I have had a slight slide where it stepped in after a while which was rather annoying, yet it's also let me get very sideways on the motorway and I'm not 100% it did a lot to stop it!

Anyone else had chance for a play in the snow?

Not stopped snowing since I woke up, not sticking on the roads though -
Yea and was tighter than you thought! I got confused early on there as both Faith and a Civic completely missed the corner and I was wondering if I was about to turn the wrong way

I've got the week of the 11th off work, so definitely still up for this, obviously won't be able to drive up until the Saturday though

Absolutely awesome day, missing being on track the past couple of months. The plan of taking it easy went out the window rather quickly Suspension worked perfectly (thanks for the settings @Lauren) - had it running on just the g-force with a starting point of 44, didn't notice it go fully stiff but did see it in single figures (not that I was looking at the display...) Called it a day after a coincidental 86 miles as the fuel light came on, not bad from a full tank Shame I didn't get to take Nick out for a passenger lap, although with Faith saying I was worse than her for throwing a passenger about, it was probably for the best!

Guess I'll find out then, driving in the city centre is doing my head in, there's parts where I have no choice but to hit a series of pot holes and bumps
-
Will be watching United game first then heading down, so probably 8pm for me.

Just to clarify, 2-3s on a lap is huge. But if you're accepting 0.2 - 0.3 for every time you brake / accelerate, it soon adds up to 2 seconds. How noticeable is the ride quality with lighter wheels? Looking at reducing the weight by a bit over 2kg than what I've got on already.
-
2 - 3 seconds isn't a lot when you think about it. If lighter wheels can give you 0.2 - 0.3s every braking / acceleration zone, then a dozen of those and you've got 2 - 3s instantly.

I know Alec's camera has come off but as long as the suction part is all on the glass it should stay put. Which is handy as my tether does nothing in reality...

Need to replace my red hoodie, so can I have a navy in medium please! -
Doh! At least you can get it done on insurance this time?
-
Don't see why not, I'll see what it's like at weekends and see how busy it gets
-
Any provisional dates on that? May tag along if you don't mind

Ok table booked at Jolly Thresher for 7pm. Booked for 6 people in case anyone else wants to come.
-
Cool, can pop in my way home. I assume 7 - 7:30ish will be fine? @Nicebiscuit are you coming? Or should I just book a table for 6 anyway?
-
I only know of the Jolly Thresher as my parents have been a few times and have said its fine. I'd favour the first 2, parking would be an issue at Spread Eagle.
-
I said to put Manchester because that's where her study day is, and more people will know it
-
Going to have to bail on this one, good luck Jeff!
-
That'd be Lymm but anywhere is fine really, happy for Lauren to suggest somewhere as it can be dog friendly then if Mark/Indy are coming?
-
I'm hardly the best person for that job
-
Going to have to become a maybe for this now, will see how this week goes...

As flat as can be I think!
