High 20s?! In the rare times I've just used my car to/from work (8 miles?) I'll average 25mpg although now I need to go further into the city centre, it's more like 22/23

Thanks for sorting it out, how many times did I try (and fail at) the initialisation in the end? Still getting used to it (and the noise of the motors resetting themselves every so often when you start it up!) but the car feels a lot different and a lot eager to turn in without any fuss at all. Need to go on a proper drive soon me thinks!

Surely the only area you would normal expect a plane to be is an active airport (or in the sky...) so disused airfields don't come into it? As Rob says though, unless it was on the road (or public car parks etc), I wouldn't expect to be covered under a normal policy.

Planning to go around the evo triangle and/or the adjacent roads this Saturday (16th) providing I have my car back and as long as it's not icy/snowy! Aiming to get to Llyn Brenig visitor centre (http://www.llyn-brenig.co.uk) at 12pm for some food then go from there. Anyone and everyone's free to tag along, just post up if you want to come
