You can find people insured with them with the odd mod but with their reputation for refusing them, I'd recommend avoiding them to anyone who was looking at modifying. They asked me several times to confirm mine was unmodified when I took the policy out. Price wise they were fine for me, didn't bother changing price when I added my 3 points a month after taking the policy out... but that might explain the 25% hike at renewal
-
They will not insure a modified car at all. When I called to cancel my renewal (it was an automatic one) I first mentioned the price (it went up 25%!) and he started in to his "we can do something about that" until I mentioned I was likely to modify it soon and then he changed his mind and cancelled the renewal for me.

There's not much point looking at my times, considering my final run was 0.2s off my best and I lost pretty much a whole second at the start and then out braked myself going up to Park doesn't say much for my quickest :P

Thought that event was at night?

IPB (what the forum uses) has always done that (clicking the topic title) and it's always annoyed me. You have to click the dot / star to the left.

If locking it via the physical key doesn't work, surely it's nothing to do with the fob signal being blocked?
-
I didn't particularly touch it when I first got it, but it still feels soft and spongy whereas the dirty side feels harder I'd be surprised if you can tell a difference, switching back to the stock one at the weekend I couldn't tell a difference and there was no performance difference at all, although that could have been me pushing harder...

https://hostr.co/aWCzYfsl6I2l - that's mine after probably around 20k miles, top left had some more crap on it but that came off
-
I was going to suggest something blocking the signal from the fob but if it's refusing even with the key, it can't be an issue with the fob / signal?
-
Yea I remember seeing a picture or 2 of that. Mines perfectly fine just a bit dirty, can take a pic when I get home seeing as it's not currently in the car
-
Replace every 6-10km?! Oops... How dirty is yours? Mine isn't that bad really even after probably ~20k miles...
-
Didn't think they made white berries? Either way, it still shows up...

Standard Michelins a bit unprogressive in the wet?
Mike replied to Nicebiscuit's topic in GT86/BRZ General Chat
Seeing as your car is at RRG, it wasn't on the silk road was it? I've had it squirm at 70 on there before in the wet -

They're only hairy if you're not expecting it, and tbh you should be expecting them to slide in the wet! -

Don't be silly -

Very much so - even with a constant throttle pedal position the back end can slide out when it's wet at low speed. Currently on a set of advan v105s and they appear to be a lot more progressive and can happily lose traction without sending the car sideways -
trees? armco? only thing I can suggest is there's 2 of us that have warped brake discs at Oulton Park (but plenty who haven't) so maybe watch out for them?

You should see someone about that memory loss...

If Rich can't get one for you, try contacting http://www.ebay.com.au/usr/snparts14 - they have the boot liner that goes over a full size spare for sale and will ship to the UK so they may be able to get a hold of the flat one for you?

Oh god... -
Ah yea, forgot about the G4!

Are those 2 pics of the windscreen with the G1 applied? Every time I've applied it it's never been that thick/opaque, unless it's just the camera?
