Three here as well, solely for unlimited data... can't beat it!
-
I was hoping it would keep it enabled on the drivers side but I don't think it does... which is a bit odd
-
Press the button next to the button that locks the doors... If that's pressed in it locks the passenger window I believe and will make the window switch for that side go dark
-
They look like some average cameras I've seen recently on normal roads... I *think* they were in Kent when leaving the PI, and they're pretty stupid because they spanned a couple of junctions so you were stopped at red lights...
-
Not sure how far it is for you, but take it to RRG Macc and it'll probably be £299!
-
I'm hoping they're picking a female presenter because they're best for the role and not because the BBC are requiring a female presenter...
-
Yep was changed as part of the service, checked the service report just now.
-
Only as part of the 20k service (I think...) I wasn't exactly paying full attention... as Rich knows

Ordered a set of the ES front pads last Friday and were delivered on Monday (presumably they'd come next day if ordered on a better week day). Had them fitted on Friday and initial verdict is they're a bit better than the stock pads... however I was losing a lot of confidence in my stock pads by the time I got them changed so it's hard to give a direct comparison! Will see how they go on at Woodbridge...

Had some birds start to fly across the road, all but 1 decided it was a bad idea and flew up / back. The one that carried on got taken out by the front grill which pushed it in a bit... Keep meaning to get it checked as you can push the grill in now without much force and I can't get it to clip back properly.

The weather? They can't forecast it more than about 2 days in advance
-
Why not... had such fun last year! Either date is provisionally fine with me.

I know there's a few threads on here already about pads but everyone's requirements are different and times possible change... What are peoples recommendations for pads? Would be looking for something ever so slightly better stopping than OEM pads (so I can sneak into N2 and hope Chris doesn't notice / care) and would be suited for sprints (so can work well from cold) and are fine for 15-20min track sessions. In terms of dust creation, I'm not too bothered and squealing is ok as long as it's not that much louder than OEM pads. Budget? There isn't one really, I'd rather see what's available and go from there...

Goodwood Festival of speed Free Tickets
Mike replied to Riceburner's topic in RRG Macclesfield (Toyota)
Why does it have to be so far away?! -
If it snowed more, I would get them. Primacys are laughable on snow. Had to drive on snow last winter down a relatively narrow road with no street lights, any sort of (attempted) acceleration and the car wanted to go sideways which was fun in pitch black

My renewal came today, gone up £200... not that I'm sticking with my current one anyway regardless of the price

Car insurance due this month? Latest feedback = 1 phone call?
Mike replied to Tim@Prestige's topic in Insurance Companies
That just means you're old Mark -
~£1300 isn't that bad for the car and 0 claims is it? Mine is due in 3 or 4 weeks so I'll get to see what mine is with 3 points...
-
Exactly the same for me... my left foot is going no where near a brake pedal in a real car
-
Lauren: Very true, I imagine you and Alec have gone through the most pads and that's only 2 sets? And as you say, everyone's style is different. I know you've told me to gradually increase brake pressure whereas Alec likes to stamp on the brakes. I may well just put the different pads in a hat and randomly pick one out... GT86Owner: Not sure how worn they are, but I'd be heavily surprised if they would need replacing after 17k miles... especially as a decent chunk of that will be motorway where I pretty much never brake.

Can't feel anything on the discs at all. Attached a pic of the right one, left one was covered in some crap from the rain this morning >.< So, what I'm getting from this thread (and the others on here), it seems to be basically personal preference?
-
How obvious would the compound be on the discs? They look like they have always done to me, not that I've actually looked at them much! Mike-p looked at them and said they looked clean and so did Rich...
-
Rich mentioned you were on the Stoptech's Lauren and as Keith said, he found them rather dusty but that's not a major problem for me. GT86Owner - I thought they were fine, but I don't think I was out for more than 15mins at a time, probably only doing 10min runs in the afternoon after the juddering started. I do believe Alec does have Yellow Stuff, I know he mentioned he changed them after Oulton Park but I can't remember what to. What I do know is he was stopping slightly better than me at Blyton...
-
Does it not mention it in the log book? Either way, I'd check with dealer as they should know for certain...
-
I would have thought that was changed on it's 2nd service? My understanding is you don't go over 1 year or 10k miles between services.
