Had plenty of tyre squeal and a cocked up heel and toe and locked the rears just as I turned in which gave off a nice squeal and bit of a slide right in front of a marshal's post... nothing said Keith - I would have applied but Woodbridge the day after and this would eat up valuable drinking time

Not a useful reply but be interested to see what others use, my door has plenty of scuffs on it as well

Putting the clutch down when I got in my car this morning, I now have a bit of a squeak / grinding feel in the pedal. It only happens once the pedal is depressed further than the foot rest "pedal". I can't really feel it driving (definitely can't hear anything) and I'm pretty certain it's just the pedal. Something to be bothered about or just one of those things™?

Popping down to see Rich in about an hour to see what he thinks, I'm assuming it's related to yesterday's visit to Oulton Park but I'd rather be safe for Blyton tomorrow

I had a look the other week about the legal requirements as I've been looking at new plates - there are a lot of people with non-strictly legal plates on the roads but the vast majority have the correct font / spacing etc. I doubt you'll get stopped for it if the font / spacing is correct. Even if you are stopped, you should be fine providing you don't get arsey with the cops... you see it all the time on cop shows, they stop someone for something simple with the intention of just having a word, the driver gets arsey and they then find themselves with a few fines for technicalities!

Any camera that is rear facing (ie you need to past it first) - no one should get caught by these... Front facing ones? Look ahead on roads before speeding to make sure it's clear? Or as Lauren says, don't speed

I saw a Gallardo on the opposite side of the M6 the other day... looked so wrong to see one doing 50mph on it's own!

Always in sport mode for me, it's the first thing I do after starting the engine. It bugs me if the 2 lights aren't on as I've got used to them being there now...

It's just under 2 hours for me to get there so would prefer meeting a bit earlier for some food - I'm not fussy, so any of the places that are there are fine with me...

Spec K: If you've got x-tec T20s, are they not the ones I linked to further up in this thread? They've fit perfectly fine for me. My only issue is one of the side indicators went... hardly "long life" at ~9 months

I just fill it up when the light comes on. Only exception is if I know I'll need to fill up on my journey then I'll fill up as I leave and use the local shell garage, saves having to find a shell garage at some point on the journey.
