  1. From Auto Trader From looking at your advert it appears that this marker was automatically added to your vehicle due to the following phrase in your advert: “No cat c/d.” If an advert contains reference to the phrase Cat A/B/C/D/S/N, a corresponding marker will be automatically added onto your advert. We can confirm that we have removed the category marker from your advert. These changes will go live shortly.
  2. Bought from Arnold Clark about 11 months back so assumed all they checks would have been done
  3. No, I did not know it was a Cat C , I have owned the car for 11 months and it has not been written off under my ownership. Any advice on next steps?
  4. Ah ! Thanks for that! I’ll amend !
  5. Sad to sell but my family has grown so my GT86 is no longer fit for purpose. Love this car so much. More details on auto trader https://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201909272694406?colour=Orange&advertising-location=at_cars&postcode=ml30rd&model=GT86&page=1&price-from=500&make=TOYOTA

Thank you both for the replies Looks like the sound system and the head unit and looking for new speakers will be my first 'mod'. Will have a trawl through the board and look for users who have done similar. On an aside the layout and format of this forum is brilliant. Cheers,

Hi, Recently upgraded my MR2 to a gorgeous burnt orange GT86 so thought i'd join a forum to understand how to get the most out of the car. I will typically be using it for short 20 min commutes and long drives at the weekends. I don't plan on taking it to the track. Looking to understand what cosmetic mods there are? The double din looks a little dated and the sound system is average, do owners typically upgrade to Alpine / Pioneer? Also, doing a little research shows the oil needs to be checked regularly and that 0w20 is the best for general use. Happy to hear thoughts or be pointed in the right direction. Cheers, Scott
