https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/163723768932 Has anyone bought this exact one from driftworks? I have smoked valenti tail lights and looking for the fog light but know these aren't official valenti. Just wondering if anyone has them and how they look on the car and if its smoked to the same level as the tail lights. Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk

I wouldve thought with your harrop kit, you wouldnt feel much difference switching to another uel manifold as the uel is designed to kill the torque dip which your harrop already does. Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk

Sorry I mean non resonated catback. But that will be ridiculously loud. I personally wouldnt go that loud. If you are turbo charging in the near future then you can as a turbo will make the exhaust quieter but if you're going to keep it NA a while, then I wouldnt but each to their own. Any reputable brand is fine I would think. Just not milltek Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk

Get a hks front pipe then go resonated exhaust. And get a decat manifold. That will be loud like a train Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk

Car lowered, now front is knocking

Going to get under the car today. Done abit more research. I'm beginning to think I've messed the strut as I used an impact gun to undo the top nut. Figures... I used the ft86speed factory video as a guide and they also used an impact gun. Last time I'll be using them. But will take a look and update. Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk -

I've found a video on the ft86 forums and it sounds like similar to this. The owner changed to adjustable links and the noise stopped so I'm hoping this is the same for my case. will update once changed. -

This is what I thought. The washer on the oem link isnt present in corsa c ones. I did measure the corsa c ones against oem from a mate who works at toyota. They were similar in size but what struck me was that I was unable to connect the drop link unless both nuts were removed from the thread and reinstalled after. With one end in, the link indeed was too long. I asked a friend who lowered his 40mm on springs and said he shortened his drop link to get it to fit so I'm assuming I'll need slightly shorter. I purchased from whiteline adjustable so waiting for them to come through the post and will see. I mean, I didnt torque anything down but I used an impact gun so I'm sure everything is all tight Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk -

When sawing off the old links or grinding it off did you out any weight down on the brakes to move it out the way and get more room? Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk -

Bit of an update based on previous posts. I've turned the wheels to have a look and there appears to be enough clearance and nothing is touching. Could this just be because I'm doing so when the car is stationary. And it runs and lca when going over bumps and rough surfaces? I've attached some photos. Any other ideas what it could be Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk -

I'm guessing with adjustable I can do it with the car on stands as I wont have to bend the links any funny way. And it will defo go in shorter than oem length. Adjustable are so expensive. RIP off Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk -

Also, how the hell do you reconnect links with the car on the ground and with the wheel on. Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk -

Ah ok so maybe the bit that is closest to the bottom of the link is rubbing? I done everything with the car on Jack stands. And once put back together, I lowered the car to ground Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk -

To be fair, the links were abit hard to get in. I did manage to do so but was informed that I dont need adjustable links. Here's a picture of the link I used. The first picture for me to get the link in I had to have both nuts undone. So I essentially get both threads in the hole then fasten the nuts. If one was already fastened i couldnt get the other end in. With regards to wheels I have 18x8.5 et44 with spacers. Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk -

I have a 2015 manual 21k miles. Every so often with AC on (at least this is when I notice) I get a funny smell coming through the vents. Can't really describe the smell but I thought maybe it was due to aftermarket exhaust and decat. Looked under the bonnet can't see any leaks but there is some muck on the piping at the very back of the bonnet behind the engine. I wouldn't call it a foul smell but it's just weird that it comes intermittently. Sent from my CLT-L09 using Tapatalk
