I had a tomei el with cobra cat back resonated. My front pipe was stock and this droned a little. I've replaced it with a hks front pipe which has 2 resonators and it doesnt drone anymore. This does mean I'm running full decat which may not be ideal for some. Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk

Sorry if this has been covered before. What are ideal oil and coolant temperatures for driving. Gone turbo so dont really know what to be looking out for (will use torque app). Also when starting up and cooling down what sort of oil temps should I be aiming for. Thanks Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk

Nice. I'll try keep this in mind. Wont be going on track so probably wont grab an oil cooler. But I may if I get itchy fingers future down the line Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk

A couple of questions for turbo kit owners

I'm unsure a sports cat as the only cat in the system will pass an mot. May as well just decat Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk -
Hi guys, considering lowering my 86. Currently on stock height but have the ht auto lip kit. I'm aware of scraping but have anyone else done this and what is your experience and how much did you lower? Ideally I want to close the arch gap. I'm in London which is a nightmare but I dont daily the car. Here's a photo currently at stock height. Looks daft Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk

Hi, my OEM front and overpipe are stuck together due to rounded and seized bolt where they attach. I've tried almost everything to remove them both as one piece but getting no success. I've removed skid pans and under cover, jacked up the engine but no matter what I do I can't wiggle the overpipe through the gap. Does anyone have any suggestions. I don't think this was the op intention. I think they just want their car back to normal or how it was before this happened. Wouldn't know what to do personally as this never happened to me. I know some people like using auto finesse iron out to remove contaminants from body work but I've never done this myself. Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk

Got any photos? If it's the pink meguiars foam I think you're suppose to wet the car completely first to try spray dirt off before using it. Anyhow I've always found this to be the best result to wash twice rather than spraying foam then rinsing and drying as all the grit is still present. Think photos would be good to get an idea of what's going on Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk

Are you still on stock brakes? And depending on your answer did you have them redone or had the fluid changed for supercharger? Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk

For me I swapped out my manifold first and found the car a little louder but not much at all. I then changed to a catback and the car became louder but also droney. After this I swapped my front pipe to a decatted one with two resonators and it's even louder now but no drone so at around 3kish rpm it's not loud at all I found. If it helps my set up is tomei equal length manifold (decat), hks front pipe (decat and double resonator) and cobra resonated catback. I also had the car remapped at fensport. Hope this helps. Sometimes it's better to select an exhaust based on your modification goals. My car is fully decatted with 3 resonators. It's actually quieter when cruising compared to when I had the oem front pipe with cat and muffler. But when I give it the beans, its loud as hell. Best of both worlds. But generally when cruising I don't notice it. Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk

Keep us updated on which way you go. By the time I get round to it, it'll probably just be the harrop available but always interesting to see which way people go and why Sent from my CLT-L09 using Tapatalk -
Aftermarket Headunit

It just sounds like some hack into the system. Considering so, even £50 he would be making decent from it. Essentially charging for an app Sent from my CLT-L09 using Tapatalk -

You're not missing anything. That fella is a rip off sorry to say. All over FB marketplace ripping others off. I'd go aftermarket at that price Sent from my CLT-L09 using Tapatalk -

I've used an OEM expired puncture fluid. Seems fine I found but either way you're going to get a mess. And as that is the case, I'd just grab tyre weld. Much quicker to use than the puncture repair kit offered in the car. Sent from my CLT-L09 using Tapatalk
