Hi guys, I know there's some stuff related to this but thought I'd ask as I'll be driving the car for a little while until the end of the month before I can map it. I have a 4-2-1 decat header fitted and its just thrown what I think is a CEL light. I've had it fitted for around 300 miles or so. I won't be able to do a remap until the end of the month. Do you think it will be ok driving the car like this until then or should I let it sit until remap time comes at which I will drive the car to a tuner. Sent from my CLT-L09 using Tapatalk

i find it odd that its gone off now lol without us doing anything; i would think if a sensor was damaged or something, the light would just stay on. i wont be driving it much now from now until monday when i go for the remap. but will use it alittle over the weekend so will see what happens if it comes back

I'm the header installer. And I definitely didn't damage any sensors lol. Sent from my CLT-L09 using Tapatalk

That's the moisture that needs to dry. It looks like water bubbles. These are fine and should go away after curing. Leave it a couple days and look again. From the inside if you see creases in the tint, take it back to get them pressed out. I have a couple of these creases which I will take back for pressing out once I get some spare time Sent from my CLT-L09 using Tapatalk

Hi guys, So sad to say this but I got hit by a van today. First accident I've been in and gutted to say the least. Long story short, I was on a slip road and a van dangerously merged into my lane and went straight into me. Witness came out and said van driver was at fault so yeah. Of course the van driver is denying liability even though he says "I didn't see you in my mirror". His other argument was "I was indicating so it was my right" to which I responded "just because you indicate doesn't make it your way" Anyways I have to claim tomorrow and say its his fault because it is. And the witness has offered to write a statement of the incident. Just wondering if anyone else has been in a similar situation where it wasn't your fault and what are the best options to go about it. On the drive home I can feel the steering wheel is alittle stiffer and can definitely hear something sort of sanding together when I'm on the accelerator pedal. A part of me wants the car but there's another part that wonders if it's saveable. Also the worry that I won't get paid out what I got the car for and I haven't had it for long at all and didn't get the gap insurance. Here are some pics Sent from my CLT-L09 using Tapatalk

Toyota advertising standard specification which is not fitted to their car
matrixprotein replied to Unhappy Owner's topic in GT86/BRZ General Chat
@lauren didn't take much note of the name. Funny enough I decided to call rrg Macclesfield today just for advice based on their gleaming reviews. They were more than helpful with trying to help me. Unfortunately I have one of those Auris' which seems to have a failed mmt gearbox of some sort. Got stuck in neutral as the other half was driving! Dangerous as hell. Think it's more of a principle matter here.. people are very meticulous about cars. Just some more than others. Wouldn't say sad though but that's just me Sent from my CLT-L09 using Tapatalk -
Forgot to add price. Dunno what these go for. I'll just say £100 for the manifold but offer me something. Will be collection only unless you arrange courier Sent from my CLT-L09 using Tapatalk

UPDATE: all parts still for sale but now including stock OEM manifold. Removed after 19k miles. Doesn't come with o2 sensors. Sent from my CLT-L09 using Tapatalk

Hi guys. I have the scratchy windows on my driver and passenger side door which I've read is a warranty fix. I've called Jemca and Steven Eagell and both are trying to charge me to bring the car in with Steven Eagell claiming to have never known this issue. They basicly want the money just to inspect before deciding if it's a warranty claim which for me is a no no. Does anyone have a dealer around London or any dealer for that matter which I can call up which will take this on as warranty without giving me the nonsense. Thanks Nic Sent from my CLT-L09 using Tapatalk

Hi guys, Dunno if its always been there but I've started noticing that at under 2000 rpm, when accelerating, there is sort of a vibration through the engine but once over 2000 rpm it disappears. Its most noticeable in 2nd gear as I'm always in that gear in London traffic. After the 2000 rpm, it seems great as ever but anytime up to that point, it has that vibration. Anyone else notice this or just me?

Engine vibration under 2000rpm?
matrixprotein replied to matrixprotein's topic in GT86/BRZ General Chat
Not sure. I've read it could be but I don't think I'm hard on the throttle. I did have a bunch of car jacking stuff in the car among other things so perhaps. I'll give it a look later Sent from my CLT-L09 using Tapatalk -
Glad to hear it. Loving this thread lauren Sent from my CLT-L09 using Tapatalk
