Wanted: Positive battery terminal cover
matrixprotein replied to CherryBomb's topic in Wanted GT86 / BRZ Cars and Parts
Funny enough I actually have this. I sold my car without it on the battery. Don't ask why Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk -
SOLD - Cobra Resonated Exhaust System and de cat pipe
matrixprotein replied to kacpr's topic in For Sale GT86 / BRZ Parts
50 quid? Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk -
No you don't have anything with ecutek. You just pay the license and get the car tuned. All by Abbey, you come in with your car and leave with your car with no 'physical' additions to the car Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk

I'd personally take it to fensport or Abbey. With a company that has an excellent reputation and experience with ecutek. No disrespect to your friend or his company Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk

Know the system well. Just wondering, do the additional resonators affect ground clearance. How much do you want for it Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk

I'd be interested in the catback Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk

BEWARE! Tuning Developments are scammers
matrixprotein replied to itsuki's topic in GT86/BRZ General Chat
There was myself and afew others who knew about how TD was up to shady stuff. I've owned my 86 for about 3 years and have known about this for the past 2 years. I never ever made a thread about it simply because TD had almost a cult like status and anything negative you said about then would get shot down. Poor parts, poor design, awful quality. Stories of Mike scamming and extorting other owners of this car platform. There are countless stories about his shady practice and even instances where he had over charged his customers only to later stitch himself up and go quiet on people. His constant reply of 'the courier has it' and 'I'm packaging the item today'. All of these kinds of messages and then not providing tracking numbers etc is just lies when really he hasn't done anything. Even regarding his forged builds, other owners have questioned why he uses 'skunk2' conrods and his reply was simply 'most people for what they use it for will do fine with this type of rod's' knowing full well that it's a poor quality product - certainly a product he's willing to fit into your engine but not his own. But his actions have consequences and I'm glad people can finally see how he conducts his business. Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk -
Grey 2013 GT86 For Sale 25k Miles, £14000
matrixprotein replied to wiggs94's topic in For Sale GT86 / BRZ Cars
If you want to make more money back, then part out the car. For reference i have a 2015 turbo 86 with 23k miles. I would struggle to sell it for the same price as yours. Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk -
Fensport vs Tuning Developments
matrixprotein replied to Jay Bamrah's topic in GT86/BRZ General Chat
The stock cat on a turbo is already pretty restrictive. Id imagine a high flow cat with a decatted manifold turbo wouldnt pass mot. Supercharger may be the way for you. Im turbo fully decatted. Work done by fensport on the avo kit Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk -
@Whizo. I think both can learn from this. Understably so, you are frustrated. Ignoring previous correspondance torquen have had with other customers, lets look only at yours because it is a thread started by yourselves. In your defense, it seems they have lacked communication and you have a right to be frustrated. But in their defense, they have been nothing but polite and curteous to you in the language they use in spite of getting a bad 'vibe' from your messages which i can also tell. In terms of the ETA, unfortunately it almost seemed like you was forcing them to give you an ETA on the item even though they couldnt. Imagine they gave you a random ETA based on this and it happened to be inaccurate. It would be plausible that you would then attack them and call them liars (an assumption im making which could be wrong or right) but in either way with regards to the ETA the company is in a lose-lose situation and i hope you can understand this. However, you are right that if promised to message you by a given date, they should honour this. Either way, slating doesnt do anything, so just leave it and move on. You can move on and the company can try to improve on areas of weakness. Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk

As title says, I've changed to lowering springs and got some corsa c drop links to replace the oem. I'm pretty sure I put everything back the way I took em off. Took the car for a drive and now the front suspension is knocking like crazy. Like insanely. It wasnt like this prior to changing the springs. Could it be in the links? It just depends on the brand of manifold. Its most likely the characteristic of the td manifold Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk
