Heated seats, cruise control, keyless entry and start, head unit with Bluetooth support, reverse camera and hands free, dual climate control and air con. Part service history, last serviced at 47857 in March. With MOT - no advisories. Common problems like the rear light cluster seals and poor battery sorted. Couple of small mods; Milltek cat back exhaust (standard will be included in the sale) Takedo Air intake Lowering springs Splitter, skirts and rear spats kit fitted I’ve accidentally scraped the front splitter on a kerb when parking - see pics. It clears speed bumps no problem though. Cat D Repaired around January of 2017. Front passenger wing damage. Was done before for the previous owner and I had this fully checked before purchase, all ok. Drives spot on and you wouldn’t know about it if not recorded. Had the valve spring recall done 20th May. Been faultless, had the Spark plugs done at the same time (expensive job otherwise) and the clutch was checked - plenty of life left. Located in Sheffield.

Sorry if this is in the wrong place couldn’t find the info anywhere. I’ve just recently bought a standard exhaust to replace the aftermarket one on mine and noticed in the centre pipe there’s a couple of sections which look dented, but they actually look like they’re meant to be there? They’re too well formed and almost looks manufactured that way. Can anyone confirm if this is the case? Attached pictures. Thanks

Just got mine booked in late May with Subaru Sheffield. Really put my mind at ease. Knew all about it, was aware of the problems that have been happening and assured me all would be fine. They’ve got a few in for it as well so plenty of practice before mine. Feeling a bit more relaxed about it all now. Recommend giving them a call if you’re near Sheffield at all.

I’ve just got my letter through from Subaru for mine. Got to say I’m crapping it from what I’ve been reading about all the ones which have failed after the works but seems to be more positive here, thanks for your posts Lauren. Helps ease the mind a bit. I was wondering where I’d stand in asking for written/email proof that they’ve had updated instructions or something, just in case something goes wrong it’ll be easier to get them to sort it afterwards? Will call in tomorrow and enquire, bet they still don’t really have a clue when I do though, they’re usually not the brightest anyway. Once told me the paint code on my classic Impreza didn’t exist even when it was a pretty common one...

Mine has the pioneer upgrade with Bluetooth so that’s something. Strange how the usb works for some but not all though. Even a quick google search seems to show a lot of people with the same issue and lots who don’t with no definitive answer why. Oh well, guess I’ll just have to put up with it.

Thanks a lot for the info. Do you know if it’ll read AAC files from a flash drive. All my music is that type as it’s been ripped to iTunes. If so il get a decent flash drive.

Ah right, that sounds a bit stupid having to use both but ok. I’ll see about connecting via Bluetooth as well then. Just always preferred straight usb connection. Thanks

I’ve recently got a 13 plate BRZ. When I connect my iPhone to the usb slot at the base of the dash near the gear stick no sound comes out. The head unit shows the track information and shows the time moving as though it’s playing but there’s no sound. Any ideas why this might be?

Hey, just bought a BRZ over the weekend. Loving it Had 3 Impreza STi’s over the years, the white one in the pics was my last and favourite. But I haven’t got a garage and was spending more time stressing about it rusting away than enjoying it so decided to try something new. Always liked the GT86/BRZ, especially BRZ because of that blue. Swapped from a 4WD to RWD just in time for rubbish weather haha. The lack of power is very noticeable, especially when overtaking on a motorway. But to drive, it’s a joy. I’m loving the responsiveness and how it feels in the bends. Going to do some light modding to it. Think some UEL headers are first on so I can get that rumble back. Only pics I’ve got are from the ad for now.
