The plastic bit goes on the bonnet, it should be glued. Mine was loose so it's now superglued in place. Sent from my VFD 710 using Tapatalk

Are the rusty bolts and washers from the metal belly pan?
-
I think the plastic piece goes on the underside of the bonnet above the alarm switch.

If the discount code is for 100 % I'm in. Sent from my VFD 710 using Tapatalk

I've never had winter tyres on any of my cars. Been driving nearly 20 years and never had a problem.

Pst, you haven't put the price. Sent from my VFD 710 using Tapatalk

I'm thinking of -15mm Tein springs. My thinking being, my car is low mileage so the shocks should be fine and I can't be bothered with spending £84000 on coilovers. I'm a cash not a credit sort of man. Sent from my VFD 710 using Tapatalk

Help needed. Recommendations on replacement battery
86iain replied to Rob_86's topic in ICE/Electrical
That's either battery goop, or something that's been applied to protect the terminals. Stick your finger in it then you'll know Sent from my VFD 710 using Tapatalk -
I managed on Primacies last winter. I work weekend nights in a small town about 16 miles away, and on a Saturday and Sunday morning at 6am there hasn't been a lot of traffic on the road before we're heading home. It was just a case of it takes as long as it takes. Sent from my VFD 710 using Tapatalk

I've not heard anything either, but I'm not too worried. Sent from my VFD 710 using Tapatalk -
Mine has factory front and rear mud guards 👍

What size spacers have you used? I'd rather keep the OEM wheels than spend billions on aftermarket, but fancy them being a tad more flush. Sent from my VFD 710 using Tapatalk

Welcome. Is it standard or have you done any mods?

Malian exhaust I'm replacing my Malian next week. Have just bought a Milltek. It's only been on the car a couple of thousand miles max. It just doesn't line up right despite numerous on/offs and adjustments. I'm fussy like that, but for the money I'm asking maybe you just fancy some more noise and aren't too bothered. Or maybe it's my car that's crooked! There are couple of marks on one of the tailpipes which aren't really noticeable. I'll update more pictures when it gets taken off. It's in Grimsby for collection. £100.

I'm having a non res Milltek fitted tomorrow!

The worst car I've driven was a SEAT Altea. I took my very nice, leather lined, fast, top of the range Peugeot 508 GT in for a service and sat nav update and got that hideous, noisy pile of garbage in exchange. Thankfully for only a day. Horrible scratchy plastics - check. grumbly, inflexible engine - check. crap, fiddly touch screen radio - check. Horrendous road noise - check. Yeah, not a fan.

Anyone thinking of selling soon?

I have a 13 with 20k on, but you'd have to offer me a serious wedge to part with it!
