I am after some advice regards to an issue I am having. I had my bodykit fitted about a month ago and was less than happy regards to the colour match. After a messaged discussion regards to the colour match issues I decided that I would have the kit painted a gloss black to match the front skirt. We agreed a price and the work to be completed via a whats app message but today the work has not been fully completed as per that message. The owner is saying he didnt realise that the side skirts were also suppose to have been painted even though it clearly states in the message to which he replied and also a verbal discussion when the car was dropped off regards to the colour required. He is now saying he cant do it at the price agreed and that there will be an additional cost involved, this is ontop of the original fee already paid when they where done in the first place. What are my options? Cut my loses and go somewhere else or stick to my guns regards to what has been agreed and previously paint for. Thanks in advance.

The yokos are to soft for my driving especially in the wet. The 225's feel more stable especially on a RWD car. The michelins in the 225 are currently £20 cheaper per tyre than the 215 version so Im just weighting up the options at the moment.

Thanks Lauren. I went from a 215 to 225 on my other car but the wheel is a 7.5 inch wheel and they are the best tyres I have used especially in the wet. Cost is another factor as they are £20 cheaper per tyre than the equivalent 215 version but its good to know that they will fit. If anybody has got any pics of the 225 fitted to a 7" wheel that would be appreciated or even a comparison.

The full DA polish with a full strip down and clean will be done once the weather gets better which is why I only did a quick clay bar and ultra glaze. The ultra glaze masks and fills any minor swirls and the supernatural will make it easier to wash before the summer. Hybrid is good for the winter/spring months but for the summer I will use Auto finesse Illusion which will really show of the flake in the pearl white paint. Gyeon Bath+ is probably the best wash I have used as I normally stick with Auto finesse products. This was on offer so I thought I would give it a try. It doesnt dry streaky and adds a bit of extra protection in between waxes. Also a little goes a long way as you only need a small amount.

Welcome from another pearl white owner from the west midlands.

Not 100%. I managed to pull the panel out slightly but it looks as if at some point the rear shelf has been out and the panel has not been refitted correctly causing the plastic panel to warp out of shape. I'm off next week so weather providing I will have a better look.

Has anybody come across the following issue with setting the alarm. After a long run out of over 10 minutes when I try to set the alarm I get a continuous single tone to which I have to deactivate the alarm, open the boot, shut the boot and then set the alarm. This happens even when the boot has not been opened during the trip out. Its pretty much happening every time now since i have had the car.

Hey. Do you also have the black parts that push into the white clips? I just need the brackets for the speakers if possible not the actual speakers?? The badges are just the toyota symbols from the front bumper and rear tailgate, not the Toyota or GT86 writing.

I had mine 1 week before I started to swap things out. Upgraded the tweeters and door speakers first to component units. 4 channel amp added next and upgraded the rear speakers to 4 Inch 3 ways. These are currently being powered by the amp. Just adding these has made a big difference and they are all currently on the standard head unit. Doors and rear quarters have been sound deadened. Currently awaiting the 10 custom sub enclosure to be delivered and the JBL sub will be added once pay day arrives. So far it has only cost me £185 and then another £60 for the sub so it can be done on a budget. They may not be high end components like the focals but as it stands at the moment I dont currently feel the need to change the head unit as the functionality is perfect for my requirements,

The front and rear Toyota emblem badges please. Thanks.

So after 4 weeks of ownership and already purchased items from some members on the site I thought i had better say hi. I had my heart set on a BRZ in Blue but could not find one within my price range and then this beauty popped up on autotrader at 11.50pm one evening. The rest they say is history. Mods will follow once the warranty has expired on the GAP insurance as I do enjoy modifying my cars as the family runabout is testament to that.

Already upgraded the stock speakers all round and pre-wired in the amp ready for the 10" sub install next month. This is always the first thing I usually do with all my cars. But this time I will keep the stock head unit as the functionality is perfect for what I need. Gearbox shifter bush upgrade will also be done next month. Front & rear side skirts and rear diffuser extension (going for the carbon look if i ever find ones I like). Once the existing tyres give out will upgrade to 225/45/17 tyres to give a bit of extra grip. Finally the NA tune from TD with UEL headers and maybe lowering but i actually like how the car sits and handles so I dont really want to change this. Will give me time to save up for this over the course of the next 3/4 years. And finally paint those horrible coloured brake calipers a different colour. Oh and added the frt zunsport grille this morning
