Update: I was contacted by TGB via Twitter. They have taken my details, details of my car and details of the dealer I have been dealing with. Although they have not stated as such I think, due to the tone of the messages thus far, that TGB are looking at officially testing the DAB unit in a GT86 and then, assuming it works, officially sanctioning it for fitment to the GT86. (The problem seeming to be atm that TGB have not 'officially' approved the unit for GT86 fitment). TGB have said that they might be able fit the unit to my car at Gatwick, although this is not definite yet.

Welcome I lived over 20 years in Watford but have now been banished to Dunstable. Looks like you're a bike man too - perhaps we've met? I've had a Blade for 20 odd years. Do you remember the old meets at the cricketers in sarratt on wednesdays? I was in the group that started that off back in the early 90s!!

I just had my dent removed by a PDR man and am very impressed. He massaged the dent from behind with some tool on a stick which he somehow got behind the wing 'through' the inner arch panel and if it wasn't for the remaining scratch you would not know there had ever been any damage! He commented that the GT86 wing panel was very soft and very thin and that I should be very careful polishing out the scratch as he reckoned the paint is very soft and thin too and that it would be very easy to rub through the paint and even distort the panel again with too much pressure. He suggests I get the scratch machine polished by a bodyshop to complete the job. I am very impressed though with the result. Anyone know any good bodyshop polishers local to Hemel/Dunstable for the scratch removal?

At those prices you're obviously a long way down the pecking order.... I expected you'd be pushing the high class call girls rather than the street corner crack monkeys.

email from my dealer: That seems VERY expensive and very slippery of them to have a get out if it doesn't work - what if it's faulty? What if it's fitted incorrectly?

the last one cost over £100k .....are you sure about that price?Got a link?

After I saw Nick's integrated DAb the other day at TSS Woodbridge I decided to quiz Toyota on how his car had it but nobody else's did so i got onto HO.I know what the part number is now. Part is PZ473-T0210-A0 They have not indicated a price and suggested I talk to my dealer. Toyota admit "Seems we've not done a good job of promoting to dealers. It's the same unit as connects to various other models, ie Verso"

Nuts - I like my TPI nuts @ £40 a set (if you're lazy like me £64 fitted) - but they haven't yet seen a winter so I reserve judgement on their durability

Would love to - I keep meaning to go. every year, but I have my kids this weekend and been ordered to go bicycle fitting for the lad's 11th birthday present.....sounds like it could be an expensive weekend....I'm going to have to do a rejig of the child minding timetable as good things are always on when they come to me.... GRRR!

Blast from the past right there...loved it -
Each to their own but stickers are definitely not for me. I still haven't managed to remove all the dealer fitted stickers the car came with. Can anyone recommend a glue remover? So far I've tried: methylated sprit, white spirit, rubbing alcohol, razor blade & alcohol wipes but still have a gooey gluey mess on my window.

I wore my grey hoody out on Friday night and a young lady told me I looked 'spectacular' !!! No young ladies have ever said that to me before! Sadly, she ran off and started giggling with her mates then made a b-line for the taxi rank.....
