My iTunes library is too big for my phone. I am considering getting an iPod specifically to live in the car so that I have my whole music library in the car all the time. i am disappointed at the inability to browse music via bluetooth and find that with my iPhone connected via bluetooth very difficult to select the appropriate music. It works fine via USB but I don't want to have to plug my phone in all the time. I am confident the iPod touch would work well when connected via USB as it is almost an iPhone but without the phone bit but £329 for 64GB version seems steep when compared with the 160GB of storage on the iPod classic @ £199 What functionality would you get on the T&G touch screen on the iPod Classic connected via USB? Would you get full browsing, album art and full play function? Will it charge? Are there any limitations? I could wire the iPod into the USB port and leave it in the car, only taking it out to sync new stuff.

rob - not necessarily so - my iPhone5 works (but can't browse via bluetooth) meaning an iPod Touch would work as uses same IOS - iPod Classic is quite different though.

I got the bluray box set at christmas. It took about 3 weeks to get through all 62 episodes. Loved every minute of it BITCH!

Is mileage a good indicator of brake wear? I don't think so - it's quite possible to drive hundreds of miles on motorways without ever touching the brakes!

I've done a track day on the full circuit at cadwell on my Fireblade. It's very narrow. I managed to get air over the mountain. My day ended prematurely. I'd been following Jim Moodie (who was there testing for crescent suzuki while we were having a track day). I thought I was pushing the limit a little as I felt the back end squirm around a lot until one lap coming down the hill out of Barn I'd just hooked 4th (115mph+) and there's an almighty bang. Clutch in, coast to a stop. I'd lost the rear spindle nut and the rear spindle had worked its way out of one side of the swinging arm, collapsing the rear end. the chain had (luckily) jumped off the sprocket and scored a deep gouge out of the swining arm too. I should have either died or lost a foot in that accident. Luckily neither happened... I was a bit stranded as although the chain adjuster block was recovered, the spindle nut was not. Luckily in the next session a chap on a CBR600 'decided' to end over end his bike between the top of the mountan and hall bends. His spindle nut fit my bike perfectly and I was able to ride home.

Been on the other side since Summer2012.... I still do not yet have a GT86....ordered it (at last) just after Xmas and am expecting a manual in grey at the beginning of March. I went along to the Herts meet at the Wicked Lady yesterday and met a few of you and learned about all the politics that created this place - I must've missed all that. I had a ride in Keith's turbo but what with the flooding and potholes on faith's rather C road route keith didn't get a proper chance to kick me in the back. Anyway - I suppose I'll start lurking here too. Roll on March - it can't come soon enough. PS If anyone knows the best (read cheapest) way to import a set of TWS T66-F wheels from Japan please let me know.

The weather forecast on the radio this evening is warning of snow tomorrow in central and northern England and Wales. It was bound to happen as I collect my 86 Saturday. It was inevitable. -

I tried EBC greenstuff pads on my Fireblade - they were awful and gave a very uncertain wooden feel.Ditched them and stuck with OEM Honda pads ever since.

Who is lying about their mods?
-
I think we all know the answer to that. I have to ask, which truck did they fall off the back of?
-
Similarly this pic is what inspired me to purchase my T66-F wheels - pic is 18x8 too

I think your estimate is on the high side. If we look at other Gram Lights http://translate.google.co.uk/translate?hl=en&sl=ja&u=http://item.rakuten.co.jp/auc-bigfoot/c/0000001002/ Say 120,000Y a set plus 50,000 shipping would be 170,000 shipped (approx £990) plus 25% for import VAt and duty so could come in at £1240 a set shipped and taxes paid.

Was that wise? He could be her stalker....

If it was a 2+2 rather than a 2 seater it would be on my shopping list.
-
It seems that may be a while as it'll be 2 months before they ship! sort of made to order
-
It seems like Nathan is going to be able to hwlp me out with the TWS T66-F wheels at a very fair price too.
-
Thanks - have PM'd - I have almost given up on the idea and am looking at other (significantly heavier and cheaper ) wheels at the moment but if this comes up then I might hold off...

I thought this was going to be a thread about the 6 cylinder 2 litre Triumph Spitfire coupe variant from years gone by. I had a Spit and came close to converting it to stroked GT6 spec using a 2.5PI motor from a TR6.....sadly it was destroyed by a van before I had a chance to do the swap.
