Really? never once never even felt close to stalling - this car is so easy to drive and the pedals are so light! -
Does an ipod act like a USB stick? My ipod is 160Gb and works fine

Spoke to TGB. The ONLY market Toyota supply these straps to is korea. I asked for a drawing of how the straps secure to the catches so perhaps I might fabricate my own and they gave me this USELESS

I managed to haul my 86 the mile and a quarter to Amber - good to see you all again..long time no see...I should get out more.

Ferrari 250LM -
And join 2 together and you'll have a nice 2 litre V8 putting out > 300bhp

Bike engines manage 180bhp+ per litre and 12k + rpm NA and have no trouble with emissions........

OK chaps and chapesses - those of you who have extra gauges....how have you routed the wiring? I am thinking primarily oil pressure & oil temp taken from a sandwich block under the filter. Where have you guys brought the wiring into the cockpit from the engine bay? Where are your gauges mounted? I am thinking of a 2/3 gauge pod mounted on the driver's side of the dash clipping into the air vent in the top of the dash.

Everything on OR sport mode OR traction control off
Twigman replied to trashy's topic in GT86/BRZ General Chat
Always sport mode for me first thing I do after start up is hit the vsc button - it's become automatic now -
Not sure how useful a tracker would be. If they get the key and take the car you could track the car and get it back but get the key back? doubtful Toyota took 6-7 weeks to change the locks and issue new keys. They wanted to charge £2k My insurers were not interested in covering that cost - in their eyes theft = total loss or nothing at all.

My keys were in my bedside table. Not anymore.

Anyone know anyone that does plates with 1/2 size spaces? I can't find any sites online that do 1/2 width spaces.

I went to renew and it charged me £12.50 (previous membership expired 7/3) Don't worry about the £2.50 but does that mean I'll get the stickers again?
-
I thought I was a premium member but it seems I am no longer. Why wasn't I notified that I needed to renew?

I tend to wash often. It involves a lot of elbow grease. My wash process is: Snow foam Rinse 2 bucket shampoo wash Rinse Dodo juice Lite Pre wax cleaner and clay Poorboys Black Hole polish R222 wax The pre wax cleaner, the polish and the wax involve much elbow grease. I'm after the easy life so am looking at a DA I've never used one before. What do I need to look for? What do I need to be wary of when i use it? Is it going to really reduce the amount of elbow grease required? I want my car back.

I use this: http://www.theultimatefinish.co.uk/snow-foam/ultimate-snow-foam-5-litres.aspx neat in my brass lance with a karcher k series. It foams THICK and stays on for a good 10 minutes if I want it to.

How long would you expect to have to wait for spares?
Twigman posted a topic in GT86/BRZ General Chat
As some of you know I recently had some misfortune with my car. I was quoted on 4th Feb for the parts required to make it good. i accepted the quote and was told the parts would arrive 13th feb. At the time I thought that was a long wait but this morning I am informed that they're not expected until 14th March! Do Toyota not stock parts in UK? If not then why not? To me that is an appalling service - to have to be without my car for that long because the parts aren't available is awful. -
I've never done a track day in a car before (!!!) and do not possess a car specific helmet. there's a possibility I might be tempted this year. Do bike helmets (I have 4!! Arai Viper + 3xArai Quantum e) pass scrutineering at trackdays or do the helmets have to be car specific?
