Cobra cat back non res db readings

Rockingham is going to be another 102db limit... I managed to get 98db at Snet and 99 at Croft... hope they don't lower the Rockingham one now Not as loud as Pitman with 101.8db though and a request to change the exhaust if he's going to do another round

Who's taken their bits out the boot?

Starting to sound like the owners club on here

Haha, I get about town just fine in it, just can't straddle the square bumps they put in the centre of the road. I did have an oval section put in the exhast where it drops under the rear subframe though to minimise scrapping.

    GT86 Ebola

Ohhh and a two month wait for the parts is just appalling... Bollocks to the parts being on back order, what a crock of s**t, they're still producing GT86's/BRZ's aren't they... No chance in hell it should take that long. I'm sorry Keith, unfortunately I can't procure parts for this engine through our system for warranty, only the ones built in European factories, otherwise I'd try push it to get it sorted. I am wondering though, are you sure the dealership isn't hoping for a "It's cured itself scenario"?

    GT86 Ebola

In a case like this, and all the others the above seems to be a seriously odd way of dealing with these style of warranty claims... I'm thinking Subaru will be dealing with this rather than Toyota even though it's a GT86... In the ZR engine cases that we deal with if it was something like this we'd request at least the full head assembly back from both banks (the warranty would cover the replacement heads) and tbh in most cases we'd ask for the full engine to do a proper investigation.

    Hello from Gloucester

Welcome to the club, definitely a good choice in the white As keith said speak to Toyokid (Stephen) about the ohlins suspension, he's ordering it/ordered it already

    Goodyear 225 x 45 x 17 tyres

Close it Keith, I'll be having them need something stickier for the next TSS, just hope they cope with single hard runs as I've read they're not brilliant on track for extended times

    Justbutts GT86

Welcome along, whites definitely the best Quite like it on those 3SDM's, I was contemplating there 0.05 Definitely needs lowering though

    Handling upgrades

The BC's Stephen had that are now on mine have seperate height adjustment to damper travel...

    Handling upgrades

Have you got the whiteline insert or an even firmer one? I have the whiteline in mine and it's brilliant, does increase NVH though so would expect a firmer one to increase it more... Of course you can turn up to a TSS Stephen, the next one is Croft on the 14th of September, you don't have to pay for the full series, just pay for the event once entries open

    Goodyear 225 x 45 x 17 tyres

Yeah that's why it's so tempting... They're the eagles that Keith (spec k) was saying to go for if I was going to get a set of these rather than advans or pilot sports... I'll let you know mid week ish once I've assessed the money side and upcoming plans

    Goodyear 225 x 45 x 17 tyres

Hmmm tempted for the standard wheels for sprinting, will have to see if I have spare cash on payday...

    Hi Everyone

Welcome along I'll be there at Snetterton at the weekend - I think to get in and watch you just have to mention a name of a driver. Will happily chat about exhaust/ECU/suspension + handling and what I've done to mine

    suspension settings

Ahh I'm on standard roll bar so sounds like there could be an issue.
  19. Jamie_GRMN

    suspension settings

Why won't your anti roll bar clear the wishbone? Is it standard? I'm on BC's, lowered between 45/50mm, 1deg camber front 1.25 rear, 0.5 toe out on the front and 0 at the back. Had no issues with the roll bar though, something's up with that... The only issue I have is now that it's that low at the rear the loading on the height adjustment for the lights is way to high so my dip beam is crap...

TINT IN IT. and decal day.

The 16th is also the TSS at Snetterton...

    Dealership / Toyota Moan

    I definitely agree with that...

    Dealership / Toyota Moan

They can't just exclude them like that... As I said, they have to prove a manufacturing defect has not caused the issue to be able to reject a warranty claim.

    Helmet and TSS Advice

Cheers Lauren, I was looking at either a bell or omp open face helmet that demon tweeks do around that price range so I guess I'll just have to go and see which I find more comfortable to wear I also need to consider that I may navigate on some stage rally's, again open face is fine but a higher standard may be required
