-
A number of us have gone with Prestige that advertise on here, no complaints from me with there service and price
-
Flexi in mine too
-
I'm not sure what time I'm planning on getting down there but possibly if I'm up early and get bored
-
I have Goodyear Eagle F1's on at the moment and have done since November with no issues and very happy with the tyre, used to run them on the GT4 I had previously as well. Recommended from me for road I am changing to Advan V105's though, but thats for track use mainly

Looks like a brilliant trip Richard, not that I can complain, I spent the back end of last week in a lovely warm Barcelona on business -
They use those clips over jubilee because its a mass produciton engine/vehicle... The clips are supplied open and its a 1 second job to activate them, a jubilee clip would take longer and cost more. The reason why you struggled to lock them open is because they're not designed to be locked again with pliers, the supplier uses a special machine to do it... Have a video of it somewhere on my work PC (well a similar clip from a ZR engine).

All the recent pics you've posted Kevin I've been able to see... That's on an iPhone if it makes a difference...

Any new owner want to replace their Primacys?
Jamie_GRMN replied to keelerad's topic in For Sale GT86 / BRZ Parts
I would've but Lauren's already had mine -
I'll be taking Prestige up on there insurance quote in the morning whilst I'm waiting for my flight, ended up being about £500 less than my initial renewal quote with Admiral Tony who I spoke to on the phone was very helpful and a pleasure to deal with, would've sorted it this evening but had to let the mother and brother know I'd definitely be coming off the multicar.

To be fair a lighter wheel will do much more for handling and suspension characteristics then people think... All about reducing unsprung weight Not that I can talk, think my Compomotives are 11kg, just went for the design, plus can't beat a classic rally wheel
-
The Skyline owners club used to do a Buttertubs run event and one of the organisers kept it on after leaving. I did it last year with them and they're doing it on the 29th this year for a spring run, they'll probably end up doing a summer or autumn run as well.

Starting in Masham, should join the group that are already doing it starting at boroughbridge and going to Brymor for ice cream for breakfast
-
Let me know as soon as you do and I'll have one, passenger side please
-
Mines still open, need to get round to sorting a blank for the passenger side jsut refuse to pay more for postage from America than the actual part... unless thats a hint that you sell them?
-
As far as I know there's only me and Adrian that have single exit exhausts in the UK so I think it's unlikely Adrian uses the Blitz one, have you not considered this? Mine is fully custom from the overpipe back but only 2.5" so wouldn't be much use plus I love the sound it makes so not planning on getting rid any time soon
-
Congrats Keith

I wrote a massive essay in response to this but it is useless because: This is another one that comes down to personal preference mate, you set it up how you want it, not taking others advice
-
Any chance you have aftermarket wheels and the spigot ring has stayed on the hub and not in the wheel... Most Rotas have a 73mm centre bore so that could explain it
-
Well it won't... The OEM hub shouldn't have a 73mm lip on it, that's the problem not the spacers
-
The standard hubs on the car have a 56.1mm centre bore, well all 4 do on mine, I had the centres of my wheels machined to match as they were celica fitment (54.1mm). If the hub on the vehicle is 73mm then there's nothing wrong with the spacers...

How long would you expect to have to wait for spares?
Jamie_GRMN replied to Twigman's topic in GT86/BRZ General Chat
I really wish I could help... It's a shame when us on the manufacturing side of Toyota can't help with the purchasing side... I have a couple of contacts in the service parts department of Toyota Europe so if you wish you can send me details and I can try, long shot though... -
