And as far as trying to sell you one... Drive a manual and rag the arse of it (no matter what the dealer says), I loved mine before I had it mapped and now it's even better
-
See I'm happy with the standard system, with nav... I'll agree that if its quality you're after the Toyota unit is really bad, the same as with the satnav, it's found everywhere I've needed to go so can't complain... Maybe if you went more obscure it'll trouble it, I've only used postcodes so far
-
And now's the time I wish I was on the owners club to see if there was anything I require...

Everyone calls them headers, winds Lauren up too

You won't get any power/torque figures from Adrian, he road maps them and they don't have an on site dyno. I have the same set up minus the manifold (we're not American ) and am yet to have mine dyno'd, don't really see the point in needing the figures, all I know is it pulls a hell of a lot better and feels quicker all through the rev range, I'd expect mine to be around the 215 mark so as with what rob said I'd guess between 220 and 225 with the manifold as well your torque dip should pretty much disappear though as well Mapping with the license was £514 when I had mine done last August.
-
If you have a Db reading before it'd help to see what the increase was... I only have one silencer (at the rear) in mine plus the standard manifold which I'd like to get rid of.

Sounds lovely, would go for one myself I think if I wasn't already nudging noise limits on track
-
Fair enough, I thought you'd have weighed up the pros and cons of it Haha I haven't seen one either, was a very late finish for me (drinking) and I'm back in the pub now for the rugby

Love it although I am wondering why you haven't considered a dry sump system with an external electric pump?

Anyone running BC Racing BR series coilovers?

I have them fitted, and have done for about 8months and no knocking at all, not even after hard sprint sessions or a trackday... How much have you lowered them by? -
Not sure if the knock sensor on your engine is the same as in the 3S-GTE but there has been cases in the GT4 world of the Bee-r limiters killing them, especially on the hard cut setting... Not that it'll be an issue for you to get a new one

Going to be an epic little beast this Dave, can't wait to see it at the TSS
-
As above just make sure they're the same length and that nothing fouls when you drop the car back down. You won't load the bar unless you have them different lengths.

Was a really good afternoon out, properly enjoyed it Definitely need to go again when it's a bit warmer though and no snow on the roads
-
Hmm well that changes things... I knew I wasn't going crazy and hearing things
-
Hmmm how long will this offer be running? Not in a position to buy right now, but definitely something I would like... I was thinking of going for the Impreza brembo upgrade but tbh this would do me easily for sprints... (Was going for the brembos for looks as well)

I'll have one 1. rob275 2. smudge 3. jamie_gt86

Try blackcircles or camskill mate

When I switched my suspension over I didn't think it could be adjusted hence I bolted it back on and now have p**s poor lights, was chatting to Adrian at Croft I think, may have even been Rockingham, and he said it could be, didn't go into details though. Haven't looked at it in a while but can't the plastic arm be pulled off the sensor and repositioned?
-
Ohh and just seen the price of it If I can't adjust the standard I'm going to disconnect it, not like I'll ever see it through a MOT
-
My lights are a lot shorter, the autoleveling sensor is connected to the rear passenger control arm and is supposed to dip the beams when weight is added to the back so you don't dazzle oncoming traffic... its not to do with lowering the front more than the rear, just lowering in general (lowering the front more will make it worse though)... I don't see the need for the cusco bit of kit though... Adrian told me the standard one can be reset/altered to account for the lowering, haven't had mine back on a ramp to investigate though
-
Good to know, I saw Jordan has signed up with them as well, I'll be looking at getting a quote in March time as want to get off the multicar policy and be with someone more mod friendly... Are your mods covered like for like Lauren?

Welcome to the club I'm from Wales, but the North near Wrexham/Chester so not really much use Keith, the Novice day is the 6th, not the 7th, that's a general track day
