Hi all, As title, in the near future I’m looking for a cheap 86for a project, happy for it to have engine issues, high mileage and even be without its interior or wheels. Drop me a pm or text/ call on 07950501442. Thanks in advance Rich

I’ve just had the TD stage 1 turbo fitted and it pulled the clutch out on the Dyno. Mike fitted the stage 1 Exedy and although I haven’t done many miles it has all the feel of an oem but with the reliability of being uprated

Cheers for the info dude, I’ll have a look. There are some Project Mu pads on eBay 0-500, not sure what their rated for

By cheap I was referring more to a deal, I had came close to buying the Impreza setup until I heard some people’s opinions I do wonder though if the Brembo upgrade with the Performance pack on the Blue GT86’s are the same callipers? They certainly look very similar

Thanks Guys, some good advice. Will probably replace just the pads and fluid to start off with and see how I get on, with as KevinA mentioned, shorter stints...... Unless a cheap BBK conversion comes up 🙈😂

Hi Church, I’ve bought a set of 17 x 8 with 225/45 conti sport contact (but might change them for PS4,s). I may also have an 18” option but will try the others first Cheers

Cheers, that’s kinda what I was thinking as I will be doing a few track days and wanted to have confidence with the brakes. Just also wondered what people ran with OEM setup 👍

Hi all, wasn’t trying to start a forum war but have always valued peoples opinions who have ‘been there and done/ tried it’. For track days and Sprints, what disc & pad combo seems to work best or does just upgrading the pads and fluid work? Thanks in advance

Thanks both and that’s an interesting read Deacon on how it upsets the brake bias, especially as I plan on having a go in the TSS 👍

Sorry to hijack, has anyone on here fitted the Impreza Brembo’s to the front. Just looked like a good alternative? Cheers
