You won't get anywhere near the cost of an LS engine for selling the FA20 mate. OEM engines go for around £2k at the moment and that's if you can find a buyer
-
Not sure what your point is? I went for the 1UZ over the LS as a decent LS engine is about £4k alone...
-
Not yet mate. I've booked the last week in May off to give Nev a helping hand with all the big bits, but we're pretty much there in terms of building the engine, box, propshaft and wiring Just about to order some uprated driveshafts and a Kaz 1.5 diff but I seem to keep spending money on non-essentials like this Valenti v3 rear lights with sequential indicators! YEAAAAH I'm an Audi wannabe, and what

My only issue with that is where it's been rubbing. Much more dangerous than the tiny amount of stretch

It's a grey area, basically comes down to the opinion of the officer/MOT'er from my experience As above, as long as the beading isn't showing its generally OK. But some PC's will argue otherwise

GT86/BRZ/FR-S Manifold/Headers From Tuning Developments

What issue is that? -
Yours might come "damaged"
-
You'd be better off finding an LS specialist for that Joe. Nev is mainly a 1UZ man and while I'm sure he's capable of putting an LS in, he'd recommend the 1UZ and there are others who have more experience with LS swaps

I did think about painting it but love the carbon look too much now I've seen it on the car Had a few more goodies arrive during the week. New LUKE harnesses in purple And test fitted on the seat that remains in my front room... And paid Nev at Driftmoto a visit to catch up. The Rotrex charger is...errrmm...LARGE! Designed to produce about 1 bar which should be good for 450bhp and 400ftlbs minimum! We've set a target for end of May to have her finished. I'm taking the last week in May off to lend a hand with whatever I can. Nev at Driftmoto has put plenty of 1UZ's into numerous different cars, but never something this new with a complicated CANBUS system. We've got a speciality wiring place doing the looms and electronics for us so our job is the manual labour and custom fabrication of mounts, exhaust routing etc. Nev is a top guy and I think he's actually more excited than I am about this! Not long now

He's got enough carbon

What can I say? The man's a legend

Depends where you buy it from and who you know to give you discount
-
You've got enough carbon without copying me! It cost a fair bit, hopefully enough to stay unique in the UK
-
Did he not mention my application? Bastard!

Have you been looking at my search history?! I'm not even kidding, we've been looking at new cars to tow the 86 and a trailer with a tyre rack -
Only so I can let down all your tyres and turn up to take the glory

Have you felt the weight of the 86 box?! It's a right lump! I should've got weights of the engine and box to compare...oh well
