Updates to come in a week or so

Just for a laugh, I thought I'd give people a chance to guess what power my car is going to make at Abbey Motorsport now that she's in for mapping. I can only accept 1 guess from each member and the closest will win a mystery prize List of mods so you all have an idea: HKS stroker kit (pistons, rods and crankshaft) making it a 2.1 litre engine HKS cams Sprintex 335 supercharger with 75mm pulley 550cc injectors Perrin 3" cold air intake Custom built decat 4-1 manifold with a 2" bore, finishing in a 3" collector Custom built 3" overpipe, 3" catless front pipe to a 3" catback Xtreme HD clutch and flywheel This is the first car in the UK to have the 335 charger so even Mark isn't too sure what sort of numbers we might see. To give you an idea, the old 210 kit made 254bhp at the wheels. I need your guesses in WHEEL BHP, NOT FLYWHEEL FIGURES as Abbey have a hub dyno GO! That's like saying this is a nice upgrade http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/LS3-stroker-tuned-Chevrolet-V8-engine-600bhp-LS1-LS2-LS6-LS7-also-available-/111853340843?hash=item1a0afa88ab:g:IhAAAOSw3xJVac~u Yes, it is. But it's not a simple swap

If it's a new CRV I'm pretty sure they use some sort of LED technology with has a higher lumen output than our Xenon's do I've never had an issue with the brightness of the 86's headlights, actually think they're very good
-
Money for this but not for an overpipe eh?
-
is the plate supposed to be in relation to Shelby?
-
No, the adjustable bar is much smaller than you think. Probably only 10cm long In an ideal world, you remove the original on a ramp, replace it with the Cusco one and then adjust the length with the lights shining against a wall or something so you can get the level you want I just made it as short as possible seeing as I'm fairly low and it's basically perfect. Good vision but not so high it dazzles other drivers

I did indeed, only fitted it about 2 months ago Well worth it, I can actually see more than 10ft in front of me at night now!

'stang needs a V8 I'm afraid...

Thank fcuk! 47 notifications now cleared

I'm more concerned about performance than weight when it comes to brakes...

Cat-less is the way forward!

With the new Sprintex in place I'm looking to upgrade the entire exhaust system, so my Cobra overpipe will soon be up for grabs I bought it from new from Tarmac Sportz and it's covered approximately 10,000 miles. Slightly larger bore than stock so it frees up the flow of the exhaust system I never did get any pictures when fitting it but we all know what an overpipe looks like. Excellent quality as usual from Cobra I can take this off the car at anytime so feel free to grab this while you can I'm asking £110 + delivery as this is practically in new condition. Collection preferred obviously

With more and more of us now sporting performance modifications, I was wondering if anyone would be up for a Rung What You Brung session at Santa Pod next year? http://www.santapod.co.uk/e_rwyb.php This is a great day out (weather permitting of course!) where you can test out your car's performance as much as you want for just £35 all day long! It'd be interesting to see how the different setups perform against each other and we can tie it in with a meal out in the evening if people fancied it? Just gauging interest for who would be up for this if we looked at something around Feb/March 2016? There's an event on Sunday 28th February 2016 so let's aim for that date Interested: Smudge rob275 Ztox - found his balls! KevinA Tarerim - also needs to man up and stop relying on his Torque app Keethos Deacon AJ124 Mark-in-Stoke

This If you've never seen/heard the jet car, you probably won't understand no noise limits for RWYB

OK, correct me if I'm wrong but I'm guessing the majority of you haven't been to Santa Pod down the strip before? It's much more than just "going straight" There's the build up driving towards the lights, checking out your opponent and then having to light up the 2 amber lights to show that you're in line. All this takes a good minute or so and really builds the tension Once you're both in place, it's thinking "do I hold my revs and dump the clutch, just rev when the light goes green or try to ride the clutch a little for better traction?" - there are so many techniques and ways to get the best start Then before you know it you're hurtling down the straight towards the bridge, trying to max every rev and make every gear change as smooth and quick as possible whilst keeping an eye on the guy next to you, assuming he hasn't f*cked off because he's running some silly power of course If you've never done it before, you won't understand the addiction. So stop moaning and get your arse on the strip

Couple of times? surely you want to try and improve your time over the day?
-
If you're worried about £20 then I question many of your judgements
-
Not that I know of. Plus why would you want to? £35 isn't a lot for entry and all the runs you want. Whether that be 1 run or 100 runs, it's up to you
-
Boooooooo The RWYB days are a bargain considering you get as much action as you want
-
Ah good stuff, the website threw me a little with a load of cyclists on the front page! I'd be a maybe depending on dates
-
Wait, is this a cycling event or a driving event?
-
Haha cheers Dan, I think I may have found a solution however http://www.iagperformance.com/ATI-52mm-to-60mm-Gauge-Adapter-Rings-p/ati-52-60-conv.htm

Needing to get another gauge in the car and wanted to fit one in the drivers side air vent like the one below from Fensport: http://www.fensport.co.uk/Parts/Model_108/Category_16/4660 Only issue is the gauge I want only comes in 52mm and this pod is 60mm Anyone know of the same pod in the air vent but 52mm or a way to make a 52mm securely fit in the 60mm? Thanks
