Today, the pretty show wheels came off and were replaced with some JR11's courtesy of Chris @ Tarmac Sportz I wanted some wheels that would still look great but not too expensive as they'll only be used for daily/winter wheels so it didn't really matter if they got a bit messed up with all the road salt and crap over winter. The JR11's are the perfect combo of style and price for me Also got my headlight level adjustment bar so that I can actually see more than 10ft in front of me at night. Fitted, but feel it might need some adjustment so I'll get on that tomorrow after a little drive tonight

Might be worth putting a budget up to give people an idea

The intake is 10x larger than the OEM and people have seen up to a 5bhp increase without a remap Not anything you'll notice but it's definitely worth while for the extra air flow

Don't know numbers but it gives the best air flow into the stock airbox

After a few weeks of research and deliberating, I've come to the following conclusions: 1. There is no complete 3" system available to the market. AVO offer something but it connects to the downpipe for turbo manifolds - obviously no good to me 2. There are only a handful of 3" overpipes (nameless, JDL and AVO) - nameless don't seem to want to respond to emails, PM's or inquiries through their website and JDL make everything to order so it'd be around a 6 week wait for something from them 3. Custom is the way to go So, we have an Ultimate Racing 3" catback with 4.5" burnt titanium tips on order that should be here next week (fingers crossed) and I am now booked into H&S on 9th November to have the following made up: - UEL manifold with 47mm diameter piping into a 3" collector- 3" overpipe- 3" resonated front pipe I'm hoping the 3" catback will arrive next week so that I can make sure it's the spec I ordered and also fit it to my current setup to see what the noise levels are like

I've never had an issue with it. Certainly wouldn't call it "tacky" - I find it's quite repelling of dirt

What's wrong with the Autoglym tyre dressing? I find it really good for shows and a little bit will dribble onto the wheels to allow you to wipe any crud off with a microfibre
