Love how you make a decision based on how it sounds rather than performance My kind of guy! -
Mine's being fitted to the car probably as I type this, so not sure if Mark has included me in this or not?

Cosworth and this don't produce the same sound as a Sprintex due to the design -
Has anyone looked at actually making the "vent" above the wheel arch an actual vent? When you remove the vent, I assume it's not straight through to the engine bay, it just sits on top of the skeleton of the body? Think I've been given a great idea over the weekend that would look better than the standard 86 vents and also function fairly well to allow heat to escape...

Bit more info might be useful?... What did you have done?

Engine is out Crank is out of the casing ready to be replaced with the new HKS crank

Manifold...we're not American Depends what you want? Equal length for slight power gains or unequal length for the boxer burble? Budget?

A few pictures of the rears which I forgot to put up when they were fitted the other week And the complete article with my Weds Sports TC105N's as well, ready for the track As for the performance, well I had 2 track sessions at Rockingham at the weekend at Japfest 2 where I was able to use the brakes to about 90% of their ability as I wasn't massively going for it given that it's public track time. Overall, extremely pleased with the feel and the stopping power this setup has. At no point did it feel like the back end was light or locking up so I'm pretty happy with the bias. Absolutely no sign of any brake fade after several laps Day to day I get a LOT of squealing from the front brakes, especially when gradually braking at low speeds but it's not the annoying squeak most of us have experienced with the OEM setup. It's that unique squeal you only get from a big set of racing brakes which is actually quite nice in a weird way

I'd most likely get my bodyshop to do it when it goes in for some front end touch ups later in the year
-
Ah yes, only just seen that bit Not that big a deal though
-
Enough of a hole there to allow the heat to escape
-
The hole in the skeleton is big enough already, just need the actual plastic bit on the vent cutting to allow it out. I wouldn't go cutting into the actual bodywork
-
Thanks AJ, that's interesting to see that there is actually holes in the skeleton at that part of the car so you don't have to cut into it

Didn't find you at the show Mike sorry mate -
Couple of videos from my track sessions at Rockingham, sorry it's quite hard to see stuff out the front window... Car performed way better than I could have hoped for, just let down by my driving a couple of times! Nice picture on track taken by a friend of mine and then finally dropped her off at Abbey this morning. Engine will probably be out by the end of the day...gonna be a long wait
-
Had the car over to Abbey on Saturday to fit the new diff brace and get the alignment sorted for Japfest 2 at Rockingham today Brace fitted Alignment done And some pics before heading out on track Car felt AMAZING. Stuck in all the bends so well and just shot down the straights. Will put a couple of videos up shortly

As above, they have to sand, fill, prep and get the item basically ready to paint before they can even start to think about applying the material. Any blemishes, marks, holes or imperfections in the item then it'll show up clear as day with the material over the top This all takes time
