Tuning Developments GT86 Turbo 'TD86'
smudge replied to Mike@TD.co.uk's topic in Tuning Developments
A bigger bore will always help but you realistically won't be choking the system with a 2.5" until you start pushing silly figures like 500+bhp- 94 replies

Be sure to pop over to the Tarmac Sportz stand at Japfest 2, Mike I won't have the ARP bolts on (not that you'd be able to see them anyway!) but would be good to meet you Jordan

Got them off another member on the other forum

Always a good mod anyway. I got the STi ones

Getting one custom made won't be easy. The twists and dimensions are very difficult to replicate which is why such a small piece is typically quite expensive from the brand names

Favourite Racing Car When Growing Up?
smudge replied to JamesP1991's topic in Non GT86/BRZ General Chat
Oh, and always had a soft spot for these although it's apparently a terrible car! And I dream of owning one of these one day, the noise is just incredible. I think Clarkson said "it sounds like God is gargling with hammers!" -
Favourite Racing Car When Growing Up?

Production car would have to be the Honda NSX As for a racing car, far too many to choose from but here are some of my favourites -
Liverpool Victoria aren't in Liverpool, they're head office is Bournemouth

A square setup is preferred by quite a few of us. Added bonus is the rotation as you say
-
Good point, nearly forgot about that!
-
40 would be my recommendation then as you say you can space out to what you want if neccessary

This is a 255/35 on a 9.5J wheel ET40 I'm lowered about 40-50mm with about -2 degrees of camber on the rear and it fits very nicely under the arches front and back
-
Thanks again Rob. Sorry we had to shoot fairly early, I'll try and make sure we don't have anything going on that night/next day that means we can't stay next year!
-
I have 9.5 all around and use a 255/35 tyre which fits really well If it was me, I'd go 235/35 on the 8.5 and 255/35 on the 9.5 As for offset, around 40 is best for the 9.5 so you may want slightly lower (maybe a 35?) for the front All depends on the look you want to achieve

Was invited to the Show & Shine event at a show over in Swindon called The Annual Takeover today, and only went and won the bloody thing! Car looked great in the sun, love this colour when the weather is good Well chuffed

It's OK Keith, Michelle and I are attending in the A4 estate (the work-horse) because I don't want to get my car dirty...

Damage to "carbon" section of rear bumper BRZ
smudge replied to Solwood's topic in GT86/BRZ General Chat
Sorry, you put it in reverse and it goes forward?! I smell bullshit
