Compatibility is obviously an issue Steve, might just get something custom made up

From what we could see Nige, the EBC disc was sitting too far onto the hub due to the extra height and causing it to rub on the inside of the disc bell and the outer part of the handbrake shoe mechanism. The OEM disc seemed to stop on that little lip, but most likely was a little thicker as it would obviously need to be flush against the hub Anyway, proper discs on the way! Fingers crossed that we FINALLY get what we need Some better news today, my bodyshop sent me a few pictures of my new colour scheme are you ready for this?.... And a video showing how the colour changes with the angle that you look at the object! Hopefully picking this lot up Saturday but the wheels won't be going on for Trax as I want to coat them in some Nano-sealant which means leaving the paint to cure for a few weeks to ensure it's properly hardened

Anyone got a T&G unit that they no longer need/want? I want to finally get the satnav in my car and don't fancy paying the £700 to get the Go module attached to mine Thanks!

Yeah I've been reading about the TB discussions on the American forum. No one seems to have found a solution yet but at the same time there are people running the OEM TB with silly numbers. Adrian @ Fensport for 1, the WTF86 in Aus with the twincharge is on the standard TB. So I'll look at that when someone else has delved into it further With the 335 maybe it is time to change the airbox then....more research to be done methinks

Title changed

Yep, I need one too

Is there a USB on the unit? I've got a 4G dongle I could use for data?

Some pictures of the fronts finally fitted

1st post edited to give correct rear disc information, finally!

I've got the HKS duct going into the box which maximises the air going in compared to the OEM pipe before the airbox I am right in thinking that the OEM is best for airflow compared to some aftermarket options?

I wanted to take it out mainly to increase the noise! The Sprintex whine is affected by the airbox from what I've read so I want rid of all bloody resonators!

Interesting...

So I could have Google maps?

But also it has a big boot to sit on whereas the skirts aren't supported from underneath...if that makes sense?

Glad I went for the more subtle add-ons to my car and got shot of the 5 Axis kit to some muppet

I can't stop looking at them so pleased with how they look and can't wait to see some proper wheels over the top of them along with the rears Correct discs ordered today (3rd time lucky!) so hopefully get a chance to put them on next weekend as Trax is taking up all my time this weekend coming Another large box of goodies arrived today update this evening when I'm home

Finally, some success today! Front brakes on, AP Racing 6 pots with 362mm discs Which JUST fit over the 18" alloys So pleased with them. I can't wait to get my proper wheels on and get shot of these temporary ones Unfortunately, we had a other problem with the rears. Despite filing the paint off the mounting surface of the calipers The disc was still catching the inside of the caliper and actually part of the metal around the handbrake shoe as well. After getting the micrometer out and measuring the bores, the EBC discs I bought were slightly out and we're slipping into a lip which is designed to hold the disc in place, making it sit inside too far into the hub and catching the caliper. You can see the lip on the hub in the picture below So after a lengthy call to EBC it turns out I've been sent the wrong discs and we need to get GD1511 which is only in 5x114.3...so I'm on the hunt for the dual-drilled DBA's but they are so hard to find in stock anywhere! Might just get the correct EBC discs and get them redrilled... So I got home half happy with my day. Fronts look and feel fantastic, rears...not so much. 3rd time lucky next time!

I need to learn how to drive carefully too again soon! Gotta drive 500 miles to let the new rods and crank all settle in before booting it. Not easy with whacking great supercharger on top of it! Just no full throttle for extended periods and maybe just go for a long cruise for the weekend to rack up a few easy miles?

I had to get the same checks done when I bought a Cat C car years ago despite it only having minor cosmetic damage. Waited at least 6 weeks for the appointment and then turned up to find I'm the only one there! In and out within 30mins

Sorry to hear this Keith! Time to go manual maybe?

Rob can you stick something on Facebook please? My calendar syncs with all my events on there otherwise I'll forget lol

Just seen this in the main headlines for the 2015 budget: "New car tax bands with a standard charge of £140 - and new cars will not need MOTs for the first four years, rather than three" My car isn't due for it's 1st MOT until February 2016. Does that now mean I don't need it until February 2017 or is it only brand new cars as of today?

Finally got round to replacing my OEM air filter with the HKS one

Why are you getting a custom one made if you've got no plans to go FI? It'll be considerably more expensive than an aftermarket part. Well, saying that, depends what you're getting customised? If it's just 1 section then fine, if it's an entire system then you're nuts to go custom over something off the shelf
