I went for the DS2500's in the end lol

Get it on a proper alignment machine, you can't judge how much to set it too while it's in the air as it'll change once it's back on the floor and under load again

Can't remember what I did then lol

Had an issue with the rear discs yesterday where we thought they had the wrong height which was causing the inside of the disc to rub on the caliper at the rear It's literally out by like 1mm so I think it's the extra paint on the caliper where the mounting holes are is causing it to stick out slightly more than usual and hit the disc. So we're gonna sand down the caliper where the mounting holes are to go into the hub by half a mm and see how that goes. Unfortunately my mate who was helping me isn't around for over a week now so more waiting to be done Fronts weren't done either as the temporary wheels catch the caliper on the spokes and we didn't have any spacers

Anodised brake disc bells fitted to the fronts with the new bolts from AP, new rear EBC brake discs and DS2500 pads have arrived Tomorrow will be a good day!
-
Damn it Would love one of these but funds will not allow. Well, not after I've had my engine built in August that is...
-
Nige, if you're getting it ordered to work, remember that I know where that is and I might just have to "intercept" the parcel monkey that's delivering it

1st question for you, why a BRZ over a GT86? You can typically find much better deals for the Toyota's whether they're new or 2nd hand Any dealer in their right mind will give you something or maybe a bit of money off as they want to sell the car. But it's all down to your haggling skills...

Bit of good news, new disc bolts and braided brake lines turned up and I got some wheels that I can actually drive the car on to get to and from garage for brakes on Saturday

You saying mine isn't a "well tuned and sweet sounding exhaust"?

Borla UEL manifold, Cobra overpipe, Berk high-flow cat front pipe, Invidia Q300 catback but I've replaced the resonated mid pipe with a custom straight through for a bit more volume. Suits me perfectly as it's nice and quiet in the car on a long cruise, but when you put your foot down, all hell breaks loose! On track days I simply swap the custom mid pipe with the resonated Invidia mid pipe and it's then quiet enough for track use

From what I've seen over in the States where a few people are fully decatted, it's extremely raspy and overly loud Now if you've ever heard my car, you'll know I like it loud, but a fully decatted system is just too much, will most likely drone on the motorway and just sound awful. However, I await to see what this setup is like before I say too much!

Almost certain I had to unscrew something to get the covers off?

As Jay said, the fog light bolts into the surround which then goes into the bumper if I remember when I changed mine Trust me, bumper off is the easiest way. Only a 10min job

Have you bought these bits 2nd hand or new? Should've come with new bolts -
Nope, front bumper off jobby as you need to take the fog light out too

Fairly straightforward job. Manifold is just 6 bolts although 1 is a bit of a nasty placement and you may need some wobble extensions to help you get to it Over pipe can be hard to get out between the engine and the subframe. I undid the left engine mount nut very slightly which allowed me to jack the car up by the sump, giving abother inch or so of room to wiggle it out. Make sure you do it back up after obviously! Front pipe is then just 4 bolts, very simple The pipes should come with all the bolts you need. Don't forget new gaskets too -
Bring ya tent!
