    Greetings from Surrey!

I'm right by Addlestone station so not far. Let me know if you ever need any help or have any queries about the car. More than happy to meet up So far I've modified: Suspension Wheels Manifold Overpipe Front pipe Catback exhaust Interior Engine (supercharged) and brakes will be done soon So there isn't much left for Toyota to cover under warranty having said that, I'll soon be taking her into Toyota to fix a few niggling things like scratches on the window from the mechanism inside the door card, passenger seat has a bit of wear that has been agreed isn't within the usual "wear and tear" guidelines and anything else I can find! Only major part left under warranty for me is gearbox, but that's getting a new clutch and flywheel soon, so I guess that'll be off the list as well As long as you take it to a dealer that knows that they're talking about (like Richard @ RRG Macclesfield) then they can justify the warranty even if you've modified. One example is a guy who had a headlight fail, and his local dealer said it was due to the coilovers he'd put on the car - RUBBISH! So another dealer took a look and agreed it was just a faulty headlight, nothing to do with the suspension and replaced it under warranty TSS is great fun if you're a driving enthusiast. You race on your own against the clock, so there's no risk of running into anyone else on the track. You can drive within your own limits, race some cool tracks and meet some really nice people along the way too

    Toyota Sports Day 2015

The head-to-head at the end of the day is REALLY bugging me! The guy who was making all the announcements (can't remember his name) told me that I did a 17.66 on my 1st run and then was 2 seconds slower in the next stage?! I could've sworn I was faster but they weren't able to tell me if I hit a cone or not? I can't imagine I did a 14/15 second run and then had a time penalty for the cone, but at the same time I didn't think I was slower 17.66 was the fastest time out of all the stages - WHY DID HE TELL ME THIS?! Sooooo annoyed (with myself) but still had a fantastic time
  9. Awesome day. Fantastic organisation by everyone and the people from Toyota and Silverstone were top draw! Was annoyed that I got fastest time of the day but couldn't produce the result in the 2nd knockout stage, ah well
  10. Looks to be well organised. We're all signed in, all be assigned our team t shirts and waiting for briefing to start
  11. PM Chris @ Tarmac, he should be able to sort something for you
  12. Just seen an email from Dan asking to confirm my place, make sure you all respond to ensure there's no mess ups on the day!
  13. Plato is a massive knob-jockey! So up himself and (hopefully) too busy with the BTCC Steve Coogan would have been my choice if I'd had to make the decision. He's a knowledgeable chap with plenty of enthusiasm and experience with cars Not sure about the rumours for Jodie Kidd and Peter Jones to join Chris Evans, just seems a bit random
  14. I'm only talking about the "new" Top Gear. From 2002 onwards wasn't it? They had Clarkson, Hammond and some fat bloke that lasted a few episodes before they replaced him with James May I always watch it on Dave or BBC and it's interesting to see how the older style was more about car reviews, races across Europe etc. But you can't deny that the specials they did in America, Africa, Vietnam etc weren't epic?! I didn't see any need for change, but as above I'm a big fan of seeing them dick around and smash things up

    Debadge...or not?

Looks much cleaner without in my opinion
  16. Top Gear is simply not Top Gear without Clarkson, May and Hammond. Chris Evans is the only realistic replacement, but I'm surprised the BBC have decided to continue the series at all with the dismissal of Clarkson leading to Hammond and May not renewing their contracts. The trio have even been reported filming together for another channel, so no doubt the Top Gear audience will just migrate away from the BBC if this turns out to be true. As for Chris Evans, he's alright I guess. He's a car enthusiast and has some funny moments, but he's still a ginger tosser who is loathed by the majority of the UK. Who will his co-presenters be? If the BBC are planning to take TG back to a factual, car-based show with reviews and road tests then fair enough. But it won't be getting my viewing unfortunately. TG is more about the chemistry of the 3 predecessors and watching them just generally dick around. It's an entertainment show and I will follow wherever they go next to see them together. The new series with Chris Evans won't last long in my opinion.
