I would bet my left nut that they do sweet FA
-
99% sure that's correct Nige Wouldn't make sense for Toyota to build a completely new loom just for cars with the heated seats option

Website goes down for a short period of time and people think you've gone bust? Got to love some people!
-
Sorry, but those wheels are hideous! Each to their own I suppose
-
I took the resonated mid pipe out of my Q300 and replaced it with a straight through because it was TOO quiet!

So, the AP's are currently with the Brake Caliper Specialists getting refurbed in my special colour I did also give them a set of standard GT86 rear calipers to do, but work on them has halted since I managed to find a set of these at a reasonable price to replace them Rear 2 pot Brembo's from an 08+ Subaru Impreza STi (the hatchback) As well as double the pistons as standard on the GT86, they come with 316mmx20mm discs meaning that the rear wheels will have increased stopping power to match the AP's up front a bit better These rear calipers will be sent off to the guys doing the AP's next week and hopefully be able to pick them all up in their shiny new colour soon

Damn you Stan! I'm busy spending money on brakes and wheels this month! Hope it sticks around until next payday...

I need new track wheels and have been looking around at what width I want on the front 9.5J on the rear seems suitable for the Sprintex power I'm putting through them But what's the realistic difference between having 8.5J on the front vs 9.5J? I've got 9.5J all round with my Rays and I love the hold you can get on the road, bit I've never had them on the track. My old Work track where 8J all round and I felt like I needed wider wheels to put the power down Anyone had experience of running 8.5J fronts vs 9.5J fronts?
-
But I haven't tried them both lol
-
Would an 8.5J front and 9.5J rear be better than 9.5 all round?

If they get over 100,000 people on board, then they have to be taken to parliament to be discussed. It's then thrown out 9 times out of 10, but the MP's in question always remember that an extra 100,000 votes could win/lose an election

I meant speed cameras on the motorway in general lol
-
Too busy spending money on brakes, wheels, tyres and other silly bits!
-
I would but just don't have the cash at the moment
-
Reckon we should start a petition? Almost everyone on here would share it via forums, facebook, twitter and what-not

I was actually moving funds around to contact Steve last night, but Nige beat me to it!

Find a manual, take it out for a proper drive and you'll be sold yourself
-
Me too if I'm honest

I also agree with smudge. He's a wise man!

I get the point of cameras nearby things like schools and built-up areas. They will encourage people to stick to the limit where there's the potential to hit a pedestrian and potentially kill them As for cameras on the motorway (statistically the safest type of road in the UK in terms of number of accidents and fatalities) it's just nonsense. Doing 100mph is just as safe as doing 70mph. You are typically more alert if you're driving fast and if it wasn't for the cameras you wouldn't be distracted by your speedo every 2 seconds, taking your eyes off the cars in front and around you to check what speed you're doing The unrestricted Autobahn's in Germany are one of the safest roads in the world. Why? Because even though people are doing 100mph+, they are alert and aware of what's happening (most of the time anyway) and are concentrating on the job of driving. Not worrying if they're going to get flashed or pulled by the police. Camera's on motorways do not make sense, unless it's purely to monitor traffic
-
No one ever speeds. Everyone always does 69mph, officer

How long would you expect to have to wait for spares?
smudge replied to Twigman's topic in GT86/BRZ General Chat
You haven't dealt with a car company before have you...? They're all as bad as each other, did you go through a dealership or Toyota directly? -
I know it won't be, was just saying I wouldn't have one (despite really really really wanting one!) on my 86 as it's a daily Will you be doing anything about the driveshafts?
-
Thanks Nige, very informative mate Sequential box will be interesting! Don't think I could cope with one on my daily ride, although the novelty would never wear off!
