As others have said I am not sure about the red stitching, but yellow might have been too much!
Overall I like it but I am biased as I really like yellow cars, but then again nothing could replace my current "yellow beast"

This is exactly what I want to do. The link seems to suggest you are in an impreza. Which would be fun but having an escort myself I would much prefer to have go round in a rear wheel mk2 escort.Do this instead and spend all day in a MK2 Escort:
http://www.philprice.co.uk/courses/1-day-intense-course/
Price £299. Includes lunch and refreshments.
You also get a ride out on the full stage with Phil in his GpA WRX.

Macclesfield Vw have a 5 door dsg golf r for test driving and the guy who took me out was alright. Just a short drive from rrg next Thursday!Gregg, Stan.... looks like we're on the same wavelength... need a daily drive..
Golf R 5-door auto... just waiting for a test drive, courtesy of a switched-on VW dealer (is there such a thing?)...
.... dunno what to do with the GT86. Probably mothball it.. or I might put it on Pistonheads, see if anyone is keen to win the TSS f/i class next year in it.. or might continue with my development plans...

Do the deal before hand i.e get "drive the deal" and "car wow" prices and then you can Skipp all the RRP car price bull sh1t that they try and drag you through when you get back to the office!
To be honest the best deals look like lease deals. Check out www.rforum.co.uk to see what some people are getting!
I managed a deal at Macclesfield VW but this was mostly down to him giving me a good deal on the gt86. I had to give him the local quotes I had got from car wow, but once I had they stopped messing around!

Wanted an A45 since they came out, not even that sold on the shape, just the stats! Problem is there are no deals on them. My dad keeps asking the guy who runs the Manchester Mercedes place but he said they don't need to do any deals on them as they are so popular! When I did look it was something silly like 5k deposit and £500 a month! Just silly money. The C63 was working out the same or cheaper!Have driven the Golf R DSG the other week and was a nice car
Delivered the power far better than the S3 and yet uses the same power plant and AWD system !!
Wouldn't buy the BMW and know someone who had one and after a year has just traded the car in for a New A45
The trouble with German cars is they are just plain boring to look at

Stuck with the standard 18" wheels. Its the 5 door dsg I have gone with in the nice blue colour!Fine choice Gregg. Here's a Golf R demonstrator I saw at my local dealer last weekend, just to whet your appetite.... Did you go for 18 or 19in wheels?

I have put a deposit down on a new golf R. The build time is 20 weeks! Wanted it before winter as the GT86 is the current daily driver and things get "interesting" in the winter on the country roads to work. Looks like I won't get it till the new year/reg. I know I am not the most active member (this might even be my 2nd post in a year!) But I will miss the car. Sadly the misses never got on with in and was desperate to get rid. The golf r is the compromise! Don't think I did too bad

Anyone else experience really slippy greasy roads this evening. Driving home the back end was really twitchy (when I wasn't trying!). Driving to Macclesfield from Knutsford if it makes a difference. Just noticeable more.
