I love my miltek till I got beached down a lane last night and ended up ripping the back box off
-
jord just wondering how tight do you think fitting would be with 10" under the rear and 9.5 on the front?
-
I guess it depends really on if you want to buy new or second hand wheels really as you can pick up some nice rims for a decent price, tyre choice will affect how the car feels and handles and the width comes down to personal preference really im currently on some slightly wider wheels and find the car feels soo much more planted in the corners, i also have a set of work emotions for sale if your interested in buying a second hand set

Chipex make a really good guaranteed paint match touch up system for these sort of occasions, have used it before on other cars and if applied correctly you cant tell its been touched in, a really easy system to use. Another way of protecting the pain other than a clean vinyl is to use a ceramic coating on the car ( acts liie a wax ) however it dries hard as glass and helps provide a barrier on the car to help prevent chips and light abrasions some are easier to apply than other and the price varies carbon collective make a really easy to use coating called platinum paint and oracle I have used both products and would recommend them as there are inexpensive and work very well

Mine the same as yours so unless our toybarus are shedding parts I think its fine
-
Deacon would love it but I cant commit at the moment as works being a pain in the ass and sending me all over the country for work so makes it difficult so get anything at the moment,

any idea on how the rear mounts at all? i know with some you need to cut the carpet in the back ?

Most definitely agree with that most of the entry level polishers on that price bracket are all rebranded das's with slightly different casings but the same internals, the only reason I replaced mine was that I started getting a few clients on board and the rupes disperses heat quicker and I got a stonker of a deal on one
-
I would agree with you rob although I bought a rupes to replace my das 6 pro and its like a completely different animal all together
-
The junkman videos are the bomb for understanding the basics of how to use a da, the das 6 is a really good starter polisher imo I found it best when using chemical guys hexlogic pads with megs 105 and 205 polish just watch out not to apply to much pressure with the machine as it can heat up the paint to much cause marring or even leadig to burning through your paint however most waxes you should still apply by hand so it will reduce the polishing time but not necessarily application and removal of wax, they are great pieces of kit I would strongly advise staying away from rotary polishers to start with as they are far more aggressive

Mine has just arrived thanks jay? Do we have any installation instructions about at all?

I dilute mine 2inches of concentrate and the rest hot water works well for me but it depends greatly on what snow foam you use some lays on thick and clings while others are more liquid based, I have found thats the thinner stuff works really well if yoyr car has been cleaned recently to get very loose debris off the car and the thicker foam works really well if your car has been through lots of wet cycles on dirty roads as it sits on the paint longer

Hi jay any updates on the camera yet as its been like 2 weeks since you said it had been sent out and still no delivery
